Bedtime Story, Rain... She's never doing these songs, yet they are two of her best. She put so much thought in the selection of the tracklist, would be too easy to just slap in some of her many nr 1 hits and call it a day, but this was so thoughtful.
Exactly 30 yrs since I heard her sing this at the Girlie Show and I'll be hearing It again in Amsterdam, it holds so many special memories for me and I'm sure it will be so overwhelming to see her sing it again, I love you Madonna ❤️
If only Donna and Nikki were part of this tour. They were so integral to Blonde Ambition, The Girlie Show and Drowned World in the way they complimented Madonna and could effortlessly blend their vocals with hers for a majestic sound.
If only there was a live band. This tour has such a great set list but the music is entirely pre-recorded and she has a vocal backing track for most of the songs. She’s a good singer, she doesn’t need that.
