Shankar made 4 blunders in Indian 2
1. Senapathy characterisation - It should have carried the same tone as 1, but at the same time, it could have been more realistic, especially Varma effects it was too extreme.
2. Splitting Indian 2 into Indian 2 and Indian 3, the war mode glimpse literally made everyone in the auditorium feel that Indian 2 ending was the half climax TBH edited 1-1.2 hours of Indian 2 would have been interesting with all unrealistic characterisation - Core concept of Indian 2 is actually genuine, somehow got lost. If it was all a single movie audience would have let go of all the negatives of the first half that is the reason the I / 2.0 movie was an average grosser and not subjected to the same criticism. Somehow felt that the first murder edit was for the full movie only, it held the audience's attention very well, after went back to Indian it seemed the edit was done purposefully to fill, which again tracks back with the Indian 2 original movie,
3. Anirudh music instead of ARR music - whatever said music of ARR was good for the last 2 movies, I/2.0, I music songs fought with Kathi music of Anirudh and held its distinguishability. ARR always does special for Shankar even in the 2.0 BGM of Paksh Rajan / 2.0 title card ARR holds its forte and a special place for Shankar. ARR music for Shankar in the 90s/2000s is unbeatable and can make Anirudh's music run for money still as they literally fresh
4. Not listening to Kamal to have ARR music and to keep a single movie
For folks, who think Shankar is out of form, I think it is more of an ego problem of Shankar here, The audience reaction to Indian 2 I hope would have got him to prove more, Brilliance of Shankar does exist in the last 3 movies, ego of him got better of himself I believe which I hope would be shattered with Indian 2, I hope he bounces back, he is definitely a maverick, Indian cinema needs, Audience / Kids of 90s knows how he can deliver back to back hits across 90s to 2000s which new directors do struggle get way with mindless action and over the top BGMs,
Shankar + Lyca combinations are not good due to financial issues, I hope Game Changer proves a final redemption makes justice to Shankar's capability with non-corporate productions that allow Shankar to do what he likes. OTT release for Indian 2 would be a real tester for Shankar, if the audience can relate to the concept of keeping home straight it can brighten up prospects for Indian 3, I hope he makes just a 1.5-hour movie and releases in theatre

( ABC kids loved the movie quality watching in big screen )
Anyone who loved bharatheyudu 1 they will definitely like this movie.
Since there is lot of negativity talk I watched the movie without any expectations, to my surprise its better than anything I saw recently.
My recommendation is must watch movie bharatheyudu 2 in theatres because it’s a visual treat.
Go with your families it’s clean movie except the first song. (I asked my kids to go a get popcorn when the helicopter landed on the ship)
Story is the continuation of part1, some people say it’s the same routine story but it’s not
It’s was showing the problems of todays society.
More over the movie gives good message with present day problems in the society. It encourages
And creates an awareness in present day children. I said only children because adults can’t be changed. As Kamal said in the movie I don’t want to talk to 40 plus. If you are 40 plus it’s not for you, stay home.
It teaches kids moral and ethical responsibility for children teaching why they should not be corrupted when they grow up, every child should watch this and learn to stay away from corruption.
Because everyone is corrupted in the present world they think this movie is telling the routine story. we should not see this movie as a story. See this as a dream to fight corruption. I said dream since in reality the problem is so much rooted everywhere people are not accepting it. The result of the movie is telling how much corruption is rooted in society now.
for me its created same experience as bharatheyudu 1.
Shankar didn’t change anything even in a single Scean he thinks same as bharatheyudu 1, it gave me nostalgia and goosebumps moments in some scenes.
Every scean is shown very richly, though the story is predictable
didn’t feel bored even for 5mins in the movie
since the movie is all about visual experience if you miss in theatre ott will be the worst choice to watch this movie.
