Yes it is. You would likely want to setup some of the routing up beforehand but it can definitely work as a standalone product. This would require the optional power supply.
Get back with me when you have an 18 channel version with 8 analog I/O, ADAT I/O, WordClock, and SPDIF, plus handle all my iOS devices. Plus, I want to by pass your mic pres. My externals are probably much better.
This is quite intriguing, and I am surprised at the low price point. If the sound quality is good, I think they have a winner on there hands.
I'm going to be honest, I find that touch panel confusing but I like that you can choose different mixes for the outputs.

This is a winner...adds your own audio into the USB stream and eliminates a lot of cabling.
