They’re my favorite! Only wish I’d found them sooner. I would have loved to have used them on a newborn. 💜 Heidi

I’d love to hear an update on your EC journey and what works or doesn’t work best for EC if u were advising a new parent. I’m expecting and I’ve started my stash but I keep getting overwhelmed by trying to think ahead to what diaper styles will be most conducive to make me feel EC is easy

I’ve had a couple requests for a video like that! I advise getting a newborn diaper stash and waiting to see what you want to use once your baby grows out of them. You may be ready for cloth training pants, or a different type of cloth diaper at that point. I would hesitate to buy a whole stash of One Size or medium/large diapers before Baby is born. 💜 Heidi

@@ECpeesy Thank you! I've found great deals on used wool covers and couldn't help get too many in the "small" category. I keep telling myself I can always resell them.

I have not tried fixed flats because I feel like they would be alot of steps to remove and put back on doing EC and offering the potty so often. Lately we've been using the tiny trainers with truly charis wool longies or puppi wool cover. If we will be in the car a long time sometimes we use a clotheez workhorse under puppi wool cover or longies.

Do you keep disposable diapers on hand ? Or use exclusively cloth? My son has a stomach bug and the worst diarrhea, I couldn’t imagine using cloth during this time

Yes, we do use a mix of cloth and disposables, especially while we are traveling! It was easier while stationary at home to use only cloth.

The little hands in the flat lay videos! So cute.

I would love to see a video of WHY you choose to cloth diaper instead of using disposable diapers

For me, it's environmental reasons and also concern for what comes in contact with my baby's skin. I haven't made a stand alone video only on that topic, but in this video I explained why my focus on this channel is on natural fiber cloth diapers: th-cam.com/video/1O4KIwRXSdo/w-d-xo.html

Mrs. Heidi you finally got your wish. The Blythe Life Lunapaca collaboration has the natural materials you really wanted. I used your code to buy a few. This will be my first time trying it. I noticed your alpaca cover in the video. Did you find it was a good nightime option?

Hi! I know, that Lunapaca plus Blythe Life collaboration looks awesome! Thanks for using my code. I really like the Lunapaca cover for daytime. The rise doesn’t come up high enough in the front to cover our nighttime L fixed flats.
I filmed a comparison review including the Lunapaca cover. However we have limited internet at the moment, so I haven’t been able to upload it. Take care! 💕

I currently use a mix of Nora’s Nursery pocket diapers & Bum Genius 3.0. They work great all day, but at night my daughter pews like a super soaker. We are using disposables at night for now, but I don’t feel great about it.

The heavy wetter wool blend fixed flats plus Bumby wool cover have been working great for us at night. Sometimes we use disposables at night, but I don't trust them, since they leak sometimes.

yes! As long as she doesn’t sleep for more than about 5 hrs, disposable work at night. It works for now because she wakes twice at night. I’m not sure what we’ll do once she sleeps for a full 12 hr stretch.
