      @@DanielKraemerMusic I have the Fusion III HH Sparkle pink, Fusion-T HH Roasted FNT. 2 different levels of the Single cut. I put in a set of Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in the blue Custom model and blacked out all of the hardware. Very sweet guitar. I got the SC Junior in the silver sparkle as a b-stock. I'm swapping out all the electronics on that one to make it really hot. My first one was b-stock CST-24 in paradise flame. The pickups were very muddy. So, I put a DiMarzio Super 3 in the bridge. I haven't decided what to put in the neck yet. The pots aren't the best, so those need changed. All of them are gorgeous. l am obsessed with the Fusion. It really is an excellent guitar. I also have their CLP-15ME parlor acoustic. The neck is a little rough, but it sounds great. Now that I typed that, I'll probably take it with me to work today and start smoothing out the fret ends. I'm actually about to start jamming with some new guys, so I'm gonna take one of the Fusions and show it off.

    All those videos you made about this line of guitars are really helpfull and well done.
    The roasted maple sounds a little airier to me, not as tight sounding, and a tad sweeter and bassier.
    The std has more pronounced mid, it sounds a tad fuller and more defined
    The look of ebony and the matching headstock is more appealing to me.
    All in all considering the massive difference in price, the «standard» model is a hell of a deal and I do favor it in the comparison you made.
    As an aside it is sad that Thomann cancelled those red models, they looked outstanding I guess the «flame bengal burst» will do but I would have spent the extra 20€ for the red models you own (the HSH one).

    Great comparison! Great sound! Have you tried Harley Bentons Amarok guitars? It would be interesting to see how Amarok sounds compared with Fusion in non metal music

    • @DanielKraemerMusic
      @DanielKraemerMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I haven't tried the Amarok yet...each time I wanted to buy one I end up buying another Fusion, cause I prefer the Floyd 😅 But i think, one time I will get a red Amarok...🤞

    Hi. Have you tried down tuning with heavier gauge strings? Does the guitar handle it well? Also what is your opinion regarding the fret leveling on the fusion series in general, did you run into any buzzing/tall frets? Cheers.

    • @DanielKraemerMusic
      @DanielKraemerMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm using 10-52s in standard tuning, that works fine. Haven't tried out down tunings with heavier gauges on the Fusion, but I've never had any problems doing that with other FR guitars. So I think, it will work. Never had any problems with fret buzz. The trussrod wheel is great, I adjust it sometimse, when the temperature changes (e.g. summer/winter). These stainless steel frets are spot on, imho. That said, I prefer to have sthe string action not that low, so thta the strings can vibrate and sustain better. Hope that helps ;-)

    Hey Dan to me the ebony fingerboard sounded more heavier.

    i did end buying a b-stock cherry roasted some days ago cause it was a good amount cheaper ( still more expensive than Eb) but your eb sounds more clear defined and nicer on low register expecially on cleans ,just like the other similar video i 've asked you about . Not to mention is cheaper considerably
    _______
    Unrelated question:
    into the many guitars you did buy , ever happened to try their "Les paul" Sc Fr ? Cause looking wise is totally stunning for my likings ( the black +gold hardwarebinding +gold floyd ) , just specs look tiny less expecially for the price , frets are most probably not SS ( otherwise probably i would have taken that one for the look only ).Also Set necks on those do not allow for much adjustments if ever needed ( on my Ibanezs and other bolt on i did add very often shims to adjust the floyd i feel more comfy with ) ,so pricewise for specs only those are not the deal..but damn they look nice

    • @DanielKraemerMusic

      I havent's checked out the SC custom FR models. I own SC custom EMGs, but not with the Floyd. They are more or less like the ESP eclipse, so a lot thinner than a usual LP. I can imagine that they are quite good cause they are made in Indonesia. So the high end HB factory with alle the HB master builders 😜... although I 'd prefer the real LP model shape (SC 2) with the FR. If you like that eclipse shape, I think you should get one 😁

    • @alexlotta
      @alexlotta ปีที่แล้ว

      On the site they have ( or at least i found ) just one sc fr ,the "custom II model ", perhaps we mean the same? Anyway is 25.5 " so definetely more "esp" like you say . With the tradeoff of less floyd range adjustment and no ss ( though is not specified) .Yeah i'm tempted quite a lot discovered very late those ones ,never thought cheap stuff could be that that specwise

    • @DanielKraemerMusic
      @DanielKraemerMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alexlotta Yes, the "Sc custom 2" is their Eclipse style model, the "SC 550 2" is their LP style model...But both great specwise 😁

    • @alexlotta
      @alexlotta ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DanielKraemerMusic yeah got it late that you meant "if they would do" , lol i too would prefer if they make it . Only way today to get a true lp with floyd is to buy the Floyd original they made for that.. expensive as those guitars or more .Have a nice day!

    • @alexlotta
      @alexlotta ปีที่แล้ว

      roasted cherry floyd arrived..pretty meh- Arm is completely wobbly does not last a single dive liek a licensed, and tremblock pushes the backplate when pulling up .Also switch did cut signal couple of times . Lookwise really cool , but well , now i have to read how they handle returns i guess, really a pity i did find for a good price . Nice sound on bendings .
      Did you have any problems with floyds on your many ones?

      I personally prefer the EB fretboard ones with the Floyd rose.If you don't need the FR, I'd recommend the HSH version, as it is slightly more flexibel soundwise.Otherwise the EB with FR.Great guitars!🤘🤗
