Hi I have one question. I have tried some Fusion 3's and all of them have had similar wood rings like the ones you show in the video, some even more pronounced. I personally prefer a roasted maple that has a cleaner look. Otherwise these guitars feel great. I think they use different maples depending on the body color and model (or maybe they vary the roasting length as some appear darker). Anyway did you come across any models that have fretboards closer to a uniform look? I would prefer HH models but HSH is also fine. Thanks.
Thanks for your questions. And yes, I have a couple of roasted Fusions (HH and HSH), where you can barely see the woodrings in the fretboard. But I guess it's more or less a hit or miss with these. And with most of the roasted ones I have, you can see woodrings...and the ones I got 2-3 years ago are not as dark as todays Fusions. Maybe they changed the roasting process since then.
