That boat needs a bunch more setback. I would say 10-14 inches is a good start. I would be shocked if that prop works on that boat as well. Need a over the hub style like either a Trophy Plus or Tempest plus. I also have a 250XS on my Checkmate Pulsare. 12 inches of setback on a hydro jackplate & run a 27 pitch Trophy plus.
@michaelgreene2920 provided no injuries or death happens I think it does. As far as a boat breaking down or you get a ticket it sure does beat beaing at work
10in setback minimum and a 28p pro max 4 blade and tq master lower. Sport master does well after 85 and with rear pad boats. You have a pretty good size v out back. Do you run a water pressure gauge?
Its a work in progress my friend had a hydro stream he had the same problem he was just chasing a gremlin in the boat he just sold it got a center console and got a way from going fast
so glad your back.. finally so good content on this platform... so sick of all the political bs. hopefully i will launch my channel this year about my skater project !!
@@ATStone it varies from different manufacturers but you don't want to go full throttle for the first few hours, You vary the RPM's to allow everything to get proper lubrication and to make sure everything is seated properly like the rings and valves. Not breaking it in properly can drastically shorten the life of the motor and in some cases cause I've seen the motor to loose some power.
@@zyiro Yes, I know the theories of engine break-in. I'm asking specifically about the action of cruising, going to wide open, then slowly back down to cruising, and whether that's more significant than just varying RPM.
any "thick" water is unproductive waste of power. whatever power uses th air out a boat is not available to push that boat th higher speeds any fine misty tail does no harm @@jaycevessier7554
I think most of your issues are over trimming tbh. If you have a huge rooster tail you are losing efficiency and thrust. Slowing you down. And blowing out.
feel bad for ya man been there at least you werent on a date like i was when i in my needlle nose stv with a fresh bridgeport that just had everything possible at the time machined by Ruck in Oshkosh got taken out by a injector plug clip ugh!! bad memory lol i noticed lots of things going on in your vid especially aftter dark but sorry i just got called out to tig weld on a race snowmobile so i will leave further commenta in the morning
Aotearoa, New Zealand always in the house bro. LOVE the Boat Vibes for a long minit now.. can't wait to see her running preemo bro

Finaly the Boat is back!
The end of the video was clean you were moving mean Bro 😎

That thing needs a sportmaster and an aggressive over hub exhaust style propeller
Like that interior and seats. Where did you get the front ones?
A bad day on the water is still better then a good day at work lol
Disagree....I used to believe that too.....

Looks like you could use an additional setback bracket. That way you wouldn't blow out and/or waste power to excessive trim.

Lots more setback and please some kind of wind protection for that microphone. Good to see you back!
Dude I wish you had a 350 in the back! Maybe you could get the checkmate airborne then!
When are you giving rides?
You really need to learn how to drive that thing.
I know what you were doing during the tow😂 💨
I would like to know more about Rhony's air vents.
At least you didn’t run out of gas this time.
NICE COOL,MY FRIEND
Those opti pumps sound so weird at idle. What are you testing when you go full throttle and then pull back to the same cruise rpm? Responsiveness?
that's how you break in a new or newly refreshed/rebuilt motor
@@zyiro just to vary rpm?
I'm pretty sure break-in.

You need that new low water pick up gearbox anyway with that jack plate
Coño bro. You gonna have to stay strapped with an extra lower in the check at all times jaja
Looks like you might need to get the foot on down in the water a little more. 🤷🏼♂️! 😎🤙🏼
Those blowouts have to feel creepy. Either set the motor back or sit it down in the water more
Yooo that thing throws a nasty rooster with that sporty. Good to see you back. You need a hot foot for that thing my friend!
Haha I’ve said that multiple times

Let's go!!!
told yea get a new 300
Theres always something
I love me some optis
We all saw what happened lol😂

Hopefully the lower is a fluke... It'll never survive racing if it doesn't survive cruising!
That’s a lake boat dude, plus that company is extinct. Save your money, last choice buy a Baja, best case buy a Pantera or cigarette 28
4stroke only
Boat, break, repair, repeat.🚤
Fact....
.
