GGG surprised us with 12 absurd Ascendancies, every single one being unique and broken in their own way. I can't wait to try them all out! Which one will you be starting? Also will do a small EA-Key Giveaway later today on my discord. Hoping to allow some that do not have the Money to buy their Own to get Access to EA and enjoy this Masterpiece of a Game.
@@theodenstore Yeah those numbers really need to be flipped. Like 3% per 1 gem. This is a mid-late game class, giving a good amount of benefits from it is kinda needed. That skill seems stupid underpowered :/
@@justicebrown1077 just going to point out that this is about raising resistance cap and not providing resistance. So with 4 supports of one color you are raising from the soft cap max of 75% to 76% (hard cap for max resistance is 90%). Let's presume a STR stacking build with 12 skills each having 5 supports of our matching attribute that makes 60 gems so +15% to max fire res letting this Gemling hit hard cap for maximum resistance 90% for fire. Very handy if you can force damage to be taken as the element gems are stacked for or something like righteous fire.
haven't gotten to your build concepts yet i wanna go 4,5,7, 8 or maybe 1 - Strength stacking, Ignite big hits Melee since ignite now scales of the initial hit when applied i will have my main damage skills be Hammer of the Gods and whichever spammable heavy hitter With some aoe mace skill is in the game then also get a freeze skill with very high freeze chance or something thats easy to spam for freeze (maybe that crossbow cold shotgun skill) get that node which gives like 30% more chance to apply/build up on ignite/shock/freeze and obviously a bunch of other nodes for strength/Ignite/damage and life leech i'd probably go 2h for the big dmg i'll probably need the get accuracy equal to strength node so i wont miss attacks also obviously herald of ashes and so on maybe get the cold herald in there if i can find a use and also arctic armor for hopefully some passive freezing oh and put the 100%ignite chance on frozen enemy on my hammer of the gods so i can combo that on bosses
Hey cyclone im very new and nobody answered my question maybe you can help me... can i get a gemling legiannaire running on lightning or does it require me to path upwards to the sorceress tree ?
Heyo assuming based on you mentioning sorceress I assume you mean Lightning Spells. In path of exile 2 you can get access to all gems via uncutt gems that drop somewhat commonly during campaign. To get scaling Passive nodes you will surely find some generic Lightning ones or maybe projectiles ones if you use projectile spells on the Merc. area of the tree, but specific Spell Nodes will be on the Sorc. area and you will have to path to those. It is important to note that we do not know the full range of gems and passive Tree yet. So will need some looking into once the Tree is revealed.
Somewhat wanna start this and stack intellect for MoM + chaos dot (ED/Contagion prob) and going Decaying Hex.. but its super unclear tbf so its such a gamble.. cant decide... smh
I'd say 10% quality is about 10% more damage (or utility). If reservation is effected by the 30% less cost it is very good. I bet it is otherwise they wouldn't give it such a drawback. With base 4%max mana/sec regen fixing mana isn't that much of a problem I bet. So 30% less cost for mana and life shouldn't be balanced by increased requirement. I'll go 1-3-4-5 if 3 is good. 1-4-5-6 if 3 is only mana/life cost. Mercenary has minion node clusters with 3 notables on the strenght side of the divide. Aslo at least one notable wich gives allies and you a bonus if you are in each other's presence. (+100 accuracy for alies +35% increased damage fo you)
I'm considering Witchhunter Warrior, I don't know how tanky bosses will be as the game gets harder so the initial chunking of 5-30% hp sounds great, followed by some heavy hits like a stacked Hammer of the Gods, and ending with another 5%+ hp chunking through culling.
I really like Gem Studded.. I'm thinking 1,4,5,7.. 4 and 5 is lock for me should I replace 1 and 7? 7 (Adaptive Capability) might be necessary if I want to mess around with Giant's Blood (equip 2 handed melee on 1 hand).. I might also add minions with those extra 3 gem slots.. I just started playing POE please comment if its a bad build..
the great thing about poe2 is we have 0 idea if its good or bad yet ^^ A lot of things will have to be figured out. Think 7 is a great call for trying to use high attribute items. Just give it a go and if its not good adjust from there. See if you can make it good.
It doesn’t specify anywhere that you couldn’t put 2 of the same support onto the same skill, does it? Like 2x brutality on a single skill?. Or a 2x close combat 2x conc effect, double barreled shotgun skill? 🤣
@@CyclonDefinitivI see, that’s good. I didn’t notice that on my small phone screen. I’ll still try point blank(if it’s still there) shotgun though…may as well F around on the first char. I hope conc effect works on it…maybe I should go see what supports there actually sre
@@Darqonik Rather easily. You use warrior skills, and allocate the appropriate passive tree nodes as you level up. This isn't Diablo 4, you can make off-class builds.

I will be playing Gemling Legionnaire, respect.
Good job
I'm going to make a gemling legionare that stacks strength and dual wields 2 handed swords because it seems cool
That sounds like a solid str stacker
default skill gem slots limit is 9, 12 if u take integrated efficiency
Also, if you use 12 blue support gems, you will receive 3% maximum cold resistance with Thaumaturgical Infusion.

get that node which gives like 30% more chance to apply/build up on ignite/shock/freeze
and obviously a bunch of other nodes for strength/Ignite/damage and life leech
i'd probably go 2h for the big dmg
i'll probably need the get accuracy equal to strength node so i wont miss attacks

Same I was looking at the ascendancy node that gives double stats and it will help with meeting stats requirements for giants blood
