Never been to Baltimore but it seems like a much more chill place than I would have thought.

My god, there's no way that construction noise isn't stressing those animals out. If it was loud to me through a speaker, I can't imagine how much anxiety they have.

ohau shin the old orang was horribly spoiled b4 she came to the monkey world, she ate junk food was 50 lbs overweight and had to play with newspapers & magazines she barely walked. i see shes gained the weight back. management must have gone downhill. what are they going to do with the monkeys when the mgmt is gone?

O'Shine had a lot of loose skin from being so obese and losing weight. Stop trying to find things to pick on with Monkey World. These primates have been taken very good care of by the current administration. They are very smart, intelligent individuals, I'm sure there are already plans as to how and by whom this sanctuary will be ran when the time comes. So don't you worry your little head about these primates. This is not a fly by night zoo, ya know.

You have no idea what you’re talking about

Dude what are you even talking about... Oshine is doing great - much better than she ever could have with her former owner who may have loved her but was slowly killing her. She'd probably be dead by now if she wasn't given to Monkey World, and it's normal for animals who lose weight to gain some back. She still looks very healthy overall, though.
The staff is as dedicated as ever. Unfortunately with orangutans in particular it's very difficult to keep them in shape in captivity. The problem is that their sedate instincts work well when their natural habitat is foraging in the forest canopy, traveling huge distances every day to reach the sparsely populated fruit trees they depend on. Yet in a sanctuary situation, that is impossible to replicate. That means it's difficult to feed them the nutrients they need without them also becoming overweight, as their instinct is to move slowly and deliberately. This is why, if you watch Monkey Life, they explain how they're constantly coming up with new ways to feed them in ways that encourage them to climb as high as possible, and eat slowly as they figure out puzzles.
Lastly, what on Earth do you mean "when the mgmt is gone"? It's a primate rescue center and sanctuary. Workers and managers will come and go over the years as they have in the past, as it is with literally every operation like this. It's been going strong for like 35 years, and there's no reason to imagine it will stop. There are, however, always plans in place in the case of an emergency. If something were to happen that made a sanctuary unable to operate, other rescue agencies and sanctuaries would work to find homes for the residents. Sanctuaries work together and cooperate on an international basis.
