You know the thing i like about kev is that in his videos he gets to the content as soon as you start the video, he dosent make a 5 mins intro.
I never thought id say this as a avid Two-stroke engine fan. That noise goes straight through you. Id have to run it as an EV.
It sounds best when geared low for crawling

I always loved your view on this hobby Kev. The whole point is repairing, building, upgrading and obviously playing with RCs. I can't remember which video it was, but it was a similar instance, and all you had to say was..."I dont care, they're just toys." 100% respect to you my friend. People need to relax and just enjoy their hobbies.

The truck sounds like it's massively overgeared, it's constantly grinding the clutch, but that is probably because of the tires.
Yups !! Takes waaayyyyyy to long before it spools up , even with the tires off the ground.

And the engine needs the high rpm for that stated "high output" but isnt in thqt powerband about 80%+ of the run time. But i admit, it looks awesome😊

I love this truck great video. I know some people have problems with Max but he's not a bad kid just needs more skill with the rc. But i do miss see clare 8s steve and the rest of the gang nothing against Max. Max just needs to be a little easier on the rc.

It's the same issue in boats: if you get air and you're on power you'll break the prop shaft in your stern drive. That's why when you see offshore boat races you have a pilot and a throttle man so they don't start breaking stuff. When the props are out of the water, they free wheel and when you hit the water again it stops them...things don't go well.
Seems those ball ends are a weak point, maybe look into some titanium ones. Not sure if you have a place there, but here we have McMaster Carr. They sell all kinds of stuff like that. Spec the dia of the shaft, thread type and ball end size and you're good.
i would rather keep those rod ends as a weak link, cheap and easy to fix, if they dont break something else more expensive and harder to fix will

Kevin, I think you should reach out to a TH-camr that goes by Cleetus McFarland. His real name is Garrett Mitchell. Anyhow, aside from that the two of you would likely get along great. You and he actually have a lot in common when it comes to your hobbies. Cleetus has somewhat recently gotten into RC and has gotten his pilots licenses for both airplanes and helicopters. You own a Lamborghini and he has a 6 second 1/4 mile drag and drive monster. You own a monster truck, his favorite daily driver is a Ford Raptor.

Max seams like a good bloke BUT he destroys way to much for it to be fun to watch . that video with the boat did piss me off where he didn't care about it. I'm sure like myself other's would have liked to see it given a good go. not only because it looked fun but also I was interested in getting one and wanted to see what it could do.

Hiya, I have been enjoying your channel over the last couple of weeks.
I have been thinking of getting a car. But for me it has to be in a kit.
I’ve built a several Tamyia cars. I found making them was as much fun as driving them. So I’m looking for an electric car, 1/10 or 1/8, I like the Traxxas xmaxx look. But I cant find any cars like that in kit form. Maybe you could do an episode on the best kit Bashers available.
