By the matrix number (clearly visible in the runout), this is an Argentine Columbia recording of ca. 1910-1911, and the "City Band" playing this early tango is the "Banda Municipal de Buenos Aires".
Oh that’s quite interesting that it’s from Argentina, though it being a tango does make sense. Thanks.
This has the crisp clarity of an electrical recording, or at least a late acoustic.
I like how the instruments are quite identifiable, and that it’s very easy to listen to a single out one and just listen to it.
