I want Deegan to win the championship, but i will tell you, this is great racing. Nobody knows who is going to win. Them some fast boys in that 250 class. Deegan has a bad day and still doesn't lose any points. Great job to salvage. It's cool to see how many fast guys can win. Deegan, Chance, Tom, kitchen, Joe, or Ty. Loaded class. Not going to be boring, that's for sure.
Deegan back flips off a lapped rider may have something to do with his second moto finish... he is by far the toughest kid on track.

I saw the video of that, and it was bad. How can you not root for him? Kid has more desire to win than anybody I have ever seen.

How does the TV crew or announcers Not have a clue that Deegan crashed into a down rider? No flaggers? It was an uphill blind jump so they couldn’t see on the other side. Luckily, no one really got hurt.

They need to look into to that forsure, I say the video and after 2 people crashed the flagger stood then in shock and didn’t wave the flag at all. It was also 2nd to last lap that’s why he stopped charging
They are at the mercy of the camera director.
The 1st guys crash was shown on the tv when it happend infront of Masterpool and Vialle. I think they were shown the replay while Deegan came trough so they never saw it.
If you were watching on Peacock multiple times during the 2nd Moto the mic went out they definitely were having technical difficulties that whole moto. It happened again during the 450 2nd moto a few times as well.
Pretty sure Hunter was more banged up than he’d admit. Still excellent ride for Chase. Sexton going to be awfully tough to beat.
Aussies in general don't make excuses. The dude who drives my family's Sprint car is an Aussie, he raced a race with a broken sternum one time and nobody knew until after the season!

Great track. Nice & Rough with many areas for passing. the 1st 250 moto was awesome. Masterpool looking strong, & Deegan living dangerously, But He is sooo good at saving It, reminds me of Bob Hannah in some ways. what a year for 250 Action!
A lot more exciting now that you don’t know who’s gonna win every time lol. I’m really enjoying the it’s anyone’s championship now.
Jet wasn’t leading the title, and wasn’t winning every race. Weird take.
He won every single race last year (yes, many were injured) and would have been winning 70-80% of this year’s races if he hadn’t have crashed at Hangtown. That is not a bad take at all

rant incoming:
1. How in the world did the camera guys not record haidens crash? If it was jett it would have been replayed 500 times.
2. What does it need to take to have experienced and trained flaggers at all events, it’s inexcusable at this point.
I hope it doesn’t take a rider being unalived to get proper and experienced flaggers at all the races. I didn’t want to go that far but it needed to be said.

@@mattwright9750 yes, right after vialle almost crashed on that lappers bike, that bike was the same one haiden hit, and no cameras caught the crash except fans recording it
yes like WTF are flaggers doing part way or half way down a hill like that. They should be stationed at the TOP and they can see all the way down then flag for riders BEFORE they hit the down hill. The promoters need to pull their head out of their----- and place flaggers in the proper locations.

IMO RedBud had been trending down as far as crowds, and enthusiasm, but this weekend put that to rest. This is an instant classic, and for those who were there you lucky fans.

Agreed. It’s nice to have their knowledge in the booth and their insight in areas but less stories and more attention to the race and what’s happening would be nice. I notice lap times changing, gaps changing, mistakes, all sorts of things that could be mentioned but its often being talked over for some reference to a race they had 16-20 yrs ago. Then they realize a minute later and miss something else happening. I enjoy their perspective race reviews a lot more.
@@Ibsmokin they would be better used as the 3rd guy in the booth. So much over talking on a single point while passes are being made and not called. Kills the momentum and excitement of a race. It's like watching a documentary or instructional video instead of a live action race going down in front of our eyes. Drives me nuts listening
1st moto 250's was so close.. super exciting!
Always knew Masterpool was capable of this speed, and this is the speed I remember him having his last year at Loretta Lynn’s. Running top A class lap times on a 125. The dude is unreal. I predict Sexton winning this championship like the one where Tomac tore his Achilles. Fastest guy gets injured. Ya know.

@@BentonFilms as a huge ET3 fan…I don’t really know if he would have had much for Jett. Jett showed the world that there’s another gear of human that can be clicked in that undefeated moto season. Who knows, even if Jett hadn’t have gotten injured Sexton may have claimed a few more moto wins on him. I’m not trying to argue an opinion just stating what could be the case with Sexton’s potential title.

I think the moto i saw of masterpool on the 450 was red bud this is a favored track of his 2 years ago he held on to a 5 th in the 450 moto.

@Warsasquatch better watch what you say. Look at what happened to Nascar. They sold their soul to NBC and FOX and now you have no ideal what channel, what time, and what subscription you need
They destroyed Nascar just like CMT, The Weather Channel, MTV and all the Movie channels that use to be good. Put Motocross on regular t.v. and you will see nothing but commercials and maybe 10 laps of racing. The next week they will show tennis or golf and you will be watching it at 2 am on some channel you don't have but need to pay for. Peacock has its problems but it's 10 times better then NBC regular t.v.

250 outdoors is pretty weak this year. vialle, kitchen, hampshire and shimoda were supposed to make the 250 class stacked along with deegan but deegans the only one showing up week in and week out

Vialle fell moto 1 because his berm blew out u can see right where he fell the berm goes east an north Tom just dorked....no foot come off the berm he leaned on at the mid point went 3 feet to his left as he leaned on it hard it was gone he got Forked...in essence

This will be his 2nd “gifted” championship. He has a horrible history compared to the top guys.
I don’t agree. To finish first, first you must finish. He gave Eli a million gifts that season, eli made one mistake and lost the title because chase was the better rider even with him handing eli points all season.
Same with Forkner. Forkner rode like it was a video game, it made him fast, but he also fell off a lot. Chase won the title by riding at a pace he could do and not crash. If Forkner rode within himself, we don’t know who was faster.

I'm a Deegan Fan but this weekend just wasn't his weekend bad start in 2nd moto and made to many mistakes and bad line choices. This track is fast and plenty of people were maintaining that late moto pace he usually has. Hope he trains a little harder at the farm this week! Also how was no one on that jump flagging that a rider was down?? literally could have ended someone's season (Deegan's)
Deeg's will be fine , I think Deeg's was dealing with what Tomac has dealt with on certain tracks and that is the bike has a tendency to to become very skittish on certain tracks and becomes unpredictable . Ever since Tomac switched to the all new 2023 YZ450 F certain tracks have caused him to fade badly in races . Yamaha changed the 250 model in 2024 and it now has the same geometry as the 2023 450 and the 2023 450 is not nearly as predictable and stable as the 2022 model .
How did they not know or mention any of that on the TV? That was a crazy crash
