awesome watch Richo, the tracks look unreal up that way. looking forward to the 6 stage ep.
Cheers Dan! The tracks are very cool, very different from Victoria. 6 Stage was a hoot, excited to share that one.
Love this! The camera definitely doesn’t do it justice. It absolutely looks steep, but when you switched to the side view at 20:46 I was still shocked. Such a good watch!
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
You gotta have more faith in yourself and keep that momentum going. Great video and nice builds.
Thanks mate, slowly getting there!!
@ might I suggest going to an off-road obstacle course that has teeter totter stages but is on flat ground? Maybe build one yourself? It will allow you to gain experience and confidence as you can push your rig without worrying about a catastrophic accident by rolling down a mountain.
I know when I first started operating heavy equipment it was far more scary on the side of a mountain than in a building lot. So I just got used by tipping the equipment to find its balance points when on a fairly level surface but with obstacles.
Just for fun I used my telescoping forklift fully extended with a timber truss or bent on it to get it to seesaw. Not what you want to do with a crane, but good for skidders, excavators and skid steers.
Sick vid Richo, Lawries truck is a beast.
Cheers Tobias! It certainly is.
Great video. Keep up the good work 👍
Good ep Richo, 👌nice spotting and hard wheeling, was good to watch.👍
Cheers Scott! Appreciate the support.
Epic looking track 🤙
It certainly is!
You guys put those other Ausies to shame... This is proper hardcore tracks.
Love your stuff - both these trip style vlog/vids and the technical/build videos, you have a fan here in SA (no, not South Australia, South Africa!)
haha thanks mate! Really appreciate the feedback.
19psi on the highway would be pretty wild hahaha! Great video overall
Stich up and a half!
Loved the hard wheeling
Barras also go into low voltage limp mode and it will select 3rd gear. A pain in the ass.
Hopefully you've got the winch sorted. Keen to see more cool shit
I've got it sorted now, not in time for 6 stage 😅
@DesignedandBuilt sweet. Good to hear. The new 24v second alternator kit that keeps the aircon unit is looking good. I removed aircon on mine for 24v. Very regretful haha
Nice😍😍
Thank you!
The green truck, what is that thing on the driver side front bumper?
Its a winch dildo. It’s handy to have a flexible point with a bit of give to attach to with a fast running winch so you don’t pull the crap out of a fixed point. The driver can see it and know when the rope is all the way back in when hooked to it. Also it keeps the hook up high and accessible to get to if you’re in a deep bog situation
Have you given those internal airbags a go? Those ones that let you run the tyres down to 0psi and keep a bead?
Could be interesting for a completely legal setup.
I haven't, maybe I should give it a look! They do look good.
@DesignedandBuilt I think pooley gave them a go a while back.
First ❤ you mate
Thank you mate, appreciate the support!
18:57 it would if the ANGLE is the same as the ground. Which in almost all videos I see is not, because people tent to not move their ass 🙂
You got to get low and point the correct direction.
Agree Jack, I rely on volunteer Cameraman so I am just stoked I can get any shot hahah. But I hear you, generally a drone shot from a little further back work well also.
@@DesignedandBuilt besides: AUS has such a fantastic landscape - it doesnt matter anyway!
Needa do lake lyell side firetruck hill and mt walker hill climb are
Must do
Noted! Next time for sure.
Too much winching and speed man
What would you recommend?
That track is way too flat for a Victorian Highway...
haha true that!
you did half the track not at the top.
Hey mate, we went with a local who advised us there wasn't much point doing the second half. What do you reckon?
@@DesignedandBuilt the second half you can still drive is a loop it has a few more fun obstacles. you can't drive right out to genowlan point anymore but you can walk and the views are amazing.
i wouldn't go there and not do it again even though i've done it multiple times over the years.
