Past Jonny wanted an entire theme park themed to be in a city and Future Jonny got tired of waiting and decided to do it himself (with the entire community). I love the accidental foresight!
Hey Johnny. You said there may be a Planet Coaster 2? Do you have any insight on what they would be improving/adding? I personally want more interactiveness with custom shops and restaurants (like in Mall Tycoon 3) hotels, and I also want waterparks like in RCT3 soaked. I know Planet Coaster is very exterior driven, I'd like them to add interior features.
It's more of a flavor fatigue thing. If I see spooky more than once a year I get bored of it. Least vanilla planco themed spooky. I also did an entire spooky contest TWICE, and after seeing 100+ spooky parks it gets boring. I havn't seen 100 of any other theme yet.
After that first dark ride, I was expecting a boss fight at the end!! WOW! Yes, I remember the Creep Crawly Thingmaker!! Not a microwave, because we didn't have them that early. I think one had to use the oven. Haven't thought of that in decades!!
The under realm area makes me want a doom themed park or coaster. This project is serious dedication. I’d feel weary keeping all that work in one park file.
There's so much clear artistic vision here. Each one of these concepts could be a whole park by itself. There are definitely some elements that could be improved, like park layout and dark ride pacing, but this is an astonishing first spotlight.
A neat idea for Thorn's helix would be to have the thorn decorations get closer to the track as you progress through the helix so it looks like they're creeping toward you. With a long enough helix you could make it envelop the track for a really creepy effect.
Great spotlight of a Phenomenal park! Love the coasters and themes. Great lighting and I love the time of day selected. Well done, can't wait to see what you build next! Jonny I like that you kept this together in one spotlight - sure it's long, but I love these super long ones once in awhile where we get to really dig in and enjoy!
@@Channel5Gaming In the Time Machine dialog, for most of the show, it was set to 5:50 pm, right? The red-orange glow at the lake west of the park is the "hidden" setting Sun, that gives the park an eerie evening glow, complete with the Moon. Wonderfully done! :)
This was phenomenal! The shoutouts were great! That city was truly epic. What I love is how you branched out from the typical "spooky" vibe and had different themes like the zombie apocalypse which is technically "horror" theme but was not trying to scare you. Jonny is right that horror is difficult to do because it's hard to "scare" someone in planco. From what I gathered, you weren't trying to be "scary", you were just using the spooky theme purely in aesthetics. One big piece of advice I want to give is that the interiors could use some trim work. Bare walls, floors, and ceilings took away from the overall great exterior themes, especially when they were all the same "wood" texture. Try to use different textures and include baseboards and trimwork where the walls meet the ceiling and floor. That way it feels like a real interior. Other than that, this was an incredible park
Heyooo. New here. Just got PlanCo for PS5 (it was free 😁😁). Watched tons of your videos so far and I'm always amazed at what these creators can do. I dont have this kid of creativity. (You just mentioned LotR right after Leviathan and i definitely got Mines of Mordor vibes).
One thing you (or people) might be able to do is go though the "overworld", then remove most of the "overworld" when transitioning to the underworld. I'd run much smoother, but you would have extra work to do. Heyo BTW, I've never played planet coaster and truely don't have the time, but I do enjoy these videos and seeing what people made in a "much more powerful version" of RCT2/3 that I used to play non-stop as a kid.
coming to this 2 years later, and OH MY GOSH I would love to go to this park if it was real! Also during the Ghost Hunt ride, I love the inclusion of just straight up the Statue of Azura from Skyrim in the garden scene. Wonder if there's some Daedric meddling causing those ghosts to appear...
There are a few real-world Leviathan coasters, and was wondering if you were using the one based on Canada's Wonderland or the Sea World one, in the underground region of the Ghastly Hollows or not. The Planet Coaster one is quite long and spooky at best. :)
Are there some of these videos with parks running at good fps? I'm one of those people who no amount of eye candy could ever make up for low frames. I can't immerse in low fps.
There was another Halloween/spooky park that had a spotlight that I am trying to find. It was a colab between 4 people and I can't remember what one it was. One of the Zones of the park was themed as a carnival and there was a dueling wooden coaster as the parks key attraction.

The Howling ride is even creeper with th sun set. The shadow and dim light give it a Eerie feeling.
