    Great interview, honestly. Vlad keep bringing the guests we never knew we wanted, and Allen dropped some real gems. You can tell they both respected each others craft, Vlad as Hughes being a film maker, and Hughes for Vlad as a hip-hop record keeper.

    Great interview. Always loved the Hughes brothers. Them directing one of the most impactful movies ever (Menace) AT 20 YEARS OLD is one of cinema and storytelling's greatest accomplishments, which really should be talked about more. Much respect--they're definitely inspirations...E

    This was a very good interview. People can criticize all that they want but I really enjoy Vlad's programs.
    It takes a lot of experience to keep an interview going. There are times when you must ask questions and bring up topics or situations to keep the conversation going. Some people are camera shy or just quiet individuals. In either case, it is up to the host to keep the conversation going. Vlad is very good at this. Some hosts/interviewers are rude and inconsiderate, their only concern is their own agenda. Thankfully, Vlad is not that type. He keeps his interviews on a level that is interesting and honest. Others could really take notes. Keep up the good work Vlad.. 😊

    Menace was huge. Complex when thinking about the circumstances of how it was made and when. So much surrounding the story of this film but hey Dead Presidents man, to follow up like that? The soundtrack volume 1 & 2 secured what would become of my old soul. Smh. True storytellers with their own incredible stories. Flowers for the Hughes Bros. I went to see Menace multiple times as a kid. But Dead Presidents man...I wish films were easier to make cause we definitely needed more Hughes Brothers & Larenz Tate. I'd love a story connected to Menace like a follow up with the space of a series to really dive in and explore the future of this film without having to explicitly say they're connected. The Pac doc was beautiful. And Book of Eli one of my favorite Denzel films. Love Gary Oldman's part, had me thinking about his Stansfield role.

    I really appreciate this interview. Because after watching it I’m definitely going to make it a point to watch Dear Mama. A lot of people were calling me asking me did I watch it and I was like naw. Because of the turmoil between the Hughes Bros and Pac. I didn’t want to watch something I assumed might rub me the wrong way like when John Singleton wanted to put a R-Word scene in All Eyez On Me. I appreciate LT Hutton for debunking that too. But I have a better respect for the Hughes Bros after watching this. I have to circle back and watch the Defiant Ones too. Just keeping it real. Thanks for another interview I didn’t know I needed to watch.

    Anyone that Hated on the Hughes Brothers solely on the basis of 2Pacs side of the story in my opinion are complete idiots!
    Imagine not knowing somebody but take complete bias to their account of a story by Hating on someone else.
    I like 2Pac the same as most but can completely see why People back then would find it hard to work with him.
    Every person down to his Mother that knew him said that he was difficult. Doesnt make him Evil (before you Nutjobs jump out your Panties), just hard to tolerate.
    I fully believe Albert and many others when they say he was disrupting the film process, then they get assulted (physically & verbally) for following procedure that civilized people take, and prople turn round and Hate on them and try to boycott them and take sides with someone they didnt even know.
    I Swear the stupidity of man never cease to Amaze me.
    I'd be bitter against someone too if they assulted me without proper reason.
    I dont Blame him for making money off his Ass. That's his compensation.
    Come at me Suckers!😂

      @sparkzmentalz2 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was only a matter of time before someone retaliates against being assaulted. Not everyone is going to take an L from being sucker punched and jumped.
      Stories like the Sam Sneed beaatdown, beating up studio engineers for rewinding the song too far, J-Flex run in with the Outlawz, it's not hard to see how Pac had a lot of enemies.
