Lost out on the ballot for the set and 2 of the individual coins.
I won the individual Buley coin in the Ballot.
But i was able to pick up the release from the coin shop in the Melbourne CBD in the morning.
Personally i think that the heat in the market is from International buyers.
They have no hope in getting them any other way.
I don't think that people understand how much of a phenomenon Bluey is overseas, especially in the US.
It appears to be pretty crazy.

Saw these on 2 news stations over here in Vic. and thought 'oh, oh, this will be a feeding frenzy' 👀Tried at a local dealer but he'd already sold out. Prices will be stupid, but for how long.........I'll avoid unless/until things settle down. At least you got some, CCC👍 Cheers John D.

Just the normal mint release. I will try later when the hype dies down. They are overpriced to start with i recon. The freight is just another rip off.

Congratulations CCC on scoring the individual Bluey coins at the release prices less postage and for your review and sentiments about RAM and the EQL ballot system, I don't know anyone who would disagree with you, I chose not to participate in the ballot, I just feel that the price of CUNI coloured coins are pricey these days and I refuse to pay RAM's multiple postal charges, with a mintage of only 30,000 per coin they will likely hold their value, but the current eBay prices are ridiculous and will not be sustainable like many new releases in recent times. Not a follower but managed to get one so they did give out some fwiw. Apparently it was limited to Aus and NZ due to royalties. Keeping them for the kids to get interested in collecting

I missed out on initial release but was sent an email at lunchtime to advise they were back in stock. So I went onto the site put the Bluey’s in my cart, added a couple other coins I’ve been eyeing up (why not if I’m paying postage). Paid, looked at confirmation email and NO BLUEYS listed. Quickly went back and advised OUT OF STOCK! Well shut the door and call me Janice! I’ve escalated this. Just waiting for a call back….. if anyone is interested in how I go; happy to provide a follow up. Bless your noodling🙏🏻

I live in Singapore but managed to pick up 2 sets from 2 different ballots. I entered RAM, Downies, Wynyard and Direct. I have to ship them to my father in law in Sydney as the options for international shipping with EQL were shut down a few months back. Stupid thing is, I only wanted one set but you have to enter everything if you want a chance to get anything. As all ballots happen at exactly the same time, you cant withdraw from the others if you are successful with one. I have never sold a coin in 40 yrs of collecting so I guess with 3 young nieces, they will get a nice Chrissy pressy when we swing back home in December.

I won the 3 coin set in the ballot but they aren’t being sent out until “from” July 8. I’m still waiting on the King Charles effigy set as well, they need to fix their customer service & the postage on each item issue !

Update…..so been on phone hold for 45 minutes. Answered call by a very apologetic guy explaining that the email sent to me at lunchtime, advising the Bluey’s set was back in stock, was a computer error. I just reiterated with him that I ordered the set in good faith and am very disappointed. He graciously said he was going to log a complaint with whomever….. I cheekily asked if he could bump me up to the top if they received anymore. He did pull up my details and (honestly) said he couldn’t promise anything but given what I’d told him and my account - he’d pass it along to the people who may be able to help. I’m a glass half full person, so watch this space…..💙oh, BTW, I feel bad about not congratulating you Mr CCC on snagging the ones you got 🎉 my parents live in the uk and I’ll chat to her this evening to see if the coins were distributed worldwide. Keep your chins up everyone! As Mr CCC said ‘there is someone out there that cares about you’ ✨🙏🏻
