Make those folders for the Winchester Defender, Remington 870, Mossberg 500 and Maverick 88 and they will sell more than they can produce. Pretty neat product.
@@vegeta420z6 It very well may, but there are a crap ton of them out there, even if a small percentage bought one it would be substantial, and I think most things that fit a Mossberg 500 also fit the Maverick 88.
the closer a red dot is to your face, the LESS situational awareness you have....this is why red dots are not shoved as far back as possible on AR platforms. both eyes open, put the dot out far, you can see just fine.
My experience with folding stocks on shotguns has always been the same - they fail. Shotguns are known to have a more stout recoil which causes these folding stocks to buckle under the force. Especially when it is a pump-action. The biomechanics of a folding stock plus a pump-action equals calamity. I would not get too excited over this until they have a version 2.0. Love the concept but I need further proof of its endurance and capabilities. Stay classy my friends.
Wish I could try one before I bought as I’ve never had a dot that close to my face. Is a folder on a 1301 legal in CA, I know a collapsible is not? With this stock on can the trigger group be removed without removing the stock or pistol grip?
Looks like no. Pursuant to Penal Code § 30515, an assault weapon includes any of the following: A semiautomatic shotgun that has both of the following: (A) A folding or telescoping stock; (B) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon, thumbhole stock, or vertical handgrip. oag.ca.gov/ogvp/fed-assault-weapons-ban
Wish I could have got the folded but not here in California. Popped a matchsaverz on it too and took the magpul grip off and put a nice rubber ergo pistol grip on but I haven’t had a chance to shoot yet since I just got her in my hands 2 days ago.
Why aren’t they just selling the rear end so you can put whatever pic stock on it then..? The field of view argument is null and void because your supposed to shot dots with both eyes open lol
@huntersmith1061 I have cross eye dominance, shooting with my dominant hand (right) my left eyes view is prioritized so I mostly see the side of my optic or severe double vision.
@@AJ-xc4nmidk if anyone has told you this but cross eyed dominant people are supposed to shoot with their non dominant hand. Yeah it's weird but it puts the sight on your dominant eye which is more important

I agree with you dude, spend the money on a better shotgun, if you have a top tier shotgun, spend the money on optics or a light...i guess if you have shit tons of cash and just want to flex on the poors drop 460 dollars on less comfortable then the factory bit of aluminum that folds?

Field of view is not a problem for red dots. Both eyes open! Parallax on the other hand is exacerbated by mounting closer to the eye.
Still a cool product and parallax probably isn't a big deal with a shotgun.

I have more hope for it given that it's completely made out of metal. But rounds down range are the only real truth tellers in this business.
Can you mount a side saddle ( The Aridus Q-DC) directly to that stock?
i know it is weird but please do one (or adapter) for the m3 super 90!

So beneilli M2 & M4?
I need one for my tac13

Make one for the benelli M4
They might be able to do a fixed version, but the M4 recoil spring is housed in a tube that extends out behind the receiver by over a foot.
@@terryfaugno9242 o really? i was looking for a folding stock Benelli to buy since the fix and collapse stock look relatively the same
Will there be color matching stocks for the new Beretta 1301 grey, green, and FDE?
While I love this, it costs as much as the entire Langdon Tactical 1301 upgrade package. It just isn’t worth the cost IMHO.
I like the Aridus Crom better then that rear mounted setup.
And the rest of the stock is kinda fugly, the folder is seems useful.
