Hi, it's a great tutorial. However, I'd like to go feather and make some adjustments. What about if I'd like to merge the pieces altogether to get one shape? I tried to unite or merge option in pathfinder, but the outcome is a little bit weird. Do you know any better way? And what if I'd like to change color or apply a gradient to the lines? I'd be appreciated if you answer any of these questions.
For those who get a different 3D menu when adding the "Revolve", for the one like in the video, choose "Revolve (Classic)". In 2023 there is a new interface by default. THIS is using the classic interface.
Hello and thank you for creative video. Can You please let me know if this can be created with any photograph in adobe illustrator? And what software to use in Adobe CC? Thank you.
I mean... Why didn't you just leave a quarter of a circle before making a 3d shape. And... you guessed, no? Why didn't you just make a TWO colored black and WHITE pattern for the 3d shape instead of deleting black stripes behind the 'transparent' (or rather non-existent) lines, ok, not lines, gaps. Weird job.
Nice! Thank you.
You're welcome!
