Yeah I also felt the Wraith storyline was way too quick.. or at least it needed a bit more but yeah inside Beta Heaven when we saw Eclair and Momon, Simon was there too. If you want the chapter specifically its chapter 37 and honestly the manga is always better when it comes to FT the amount of details, cameos and references are all always gone when animated which is sad.
100%. The 100yq manga is amazing. The anime is fun but, it's almost too fun? It feels like they're rushing through fights & important character scenes, and keeping comedic scenes longer.
My concern is that based on the new OP it looks like we're getting 90/91 chapters in 25 episodes. Gonna be a lot of cutting.
I like Wraith and his story, but I really hope we get some follow-up. Who killed him? How did he end up in Diabolos/as a Spriti Dragon? I liked it but it left me with so many questions. Plus seeing young Makarov, Bob, Porlyuisca, and Precht was really nice.
Even though Erza was tricking Jellal, I do appreciate the acknowledgement of her trauma. Between the Tower of Heaven and Kyouka tortuing her in Tartaros, she does not have good memories of being restrained in that way. I also love that rven though he's Whited Out, Jellal says he'll never do that again.
