Hi There, I have watched some videos on your channel and have enjoyed it. I started to get into Jade just about a decade ago and had no idea at the time it would be so difficult to find real jade and also had no idea of the things I would learn about Jade. I was fortunate to find one real jade dealer in my area at the time and came with a GIA Cert for the bangle I bought. The other place at the time because Jade still wasn't a thing yet like it is now, was Mason Kay but they didn't have the shop they have now online so I wasn't really able to see much from them. Since that time I now own a few pieces from Mason Kay. What I would like to mention anyways is there a a true Jade Master Carver I found last year who is local in my area. I think what the Western people consider a Jade Master and what the East (China) consider to be a Jade Master are on 2 different playing fields and I say that with respect but the traditional Jade Master Carvers from Asia are on a different level and truly understand the process to carve then what Western people can do, at least for now. The reason I'm mentioning this place is one perhaps you can talk to these people and help them out as everything in the store they carve themselves, it's all real jade, but more importantly, they have wanted people to learn the trade like the real art of carving. Me too! I’ve never been, and I need a good reason to go 🤩 As demand for jade grows, I hope that we see many more jade events pop up around the US. Right now, the only ones I know of are this one, the Big Sur Jade Fest, and the Wyoming Jade Fest.
