Manish, the question which u asked is that what is your approach for the new functionality which is added to your project?
I have my own answer to this question and tell me whether it is correct or not?
What I'll do is first understand the requirements related to that functionality, then I'll do regression testing to check whether the existing app is working fine with new functionality, and then perform Integration testing to check how this new functionality is connected to other functionalities.

I have one very simple question... What is manual testing? Why do you need to emphasize on "Manual" again and again?
Testing of any application can be performed via two methods one is Manual (u manual check each and everything u perform actions and validate the screen/texts/whatever with your eyes) and other is using Automation (you write scripts and let the scripts which us nothing bt kind of a bot which checks all of this and give u the results of whether the application is as expected or not that too in a very short span of execution time)
@@vidhandhagai672 so who is writing the scripts?Aren't you writing the scripts "manually? So why don't you call it manual automated testing? Remember that manual testing doesn't exist..what exists is testing. There's #nothingcalledmanualtesting
@@brijdeb yeah it's we who write it but imagine a scenario where only the test data part is changing rest of the flow remains the same so write your script once and can execute it N no. of times covering different sets of test data in that case u r free from manually testing for each of the test data which could be a tedious task to do... There's a lot we can discuss on this but this is how even the companies send out their requirements in job portals for either a manual tester or someone whose good with Automation
