Why film on a Bicycle
Traditional video makers tend to walk, which unless great care is taken, produces a bounce in the video footage. I find filming on a motorbike can be too fast, not allowing you to take in the scenery. The bicycle allows me to interact with people whilst providing smooth footage. If you find it is still too fast, then you can slow the video speed down to half speed, which will still be 30 frames per second. Industry normal is 24/25 frames per second.
Why doesn’t the footage look clear
Sometimes I make an error when shooting the video (but very rarely) The most common cause is that your internet connection on YT has set the resolution to below 4K, so check your settings.
Camera Equipment
Since starting the channel I have used my trusty DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (Creator combo)
The Combo comes with a Bluetooth microphone which has given great performance, even when riding at speed. I film at 4K & 60 frames per second, my light and ISO settings are on Auto. The Camera is strapped to my left wrist (so it might appear that I am close to things on the left). I control the Camera head via an application on my phone (Mimo), using my right hand Thumb. The Pocket 2 is due for an upgrade and hopefully the new upcoming Pocket 3 will provide even better low light performance. Action cameras to date, have smaller light sensors and are not competitive at present for low light filming.

Why do you say your videos are Uncensored
Back in April 2022 TH-cam changed the Algorithm they use. They have very sophisticated computers that scan each & every video for words, images and music. Hearing the music when you pass a bar usually creates a Copywrite issue on the channel. A bigger issue is night filming in Pattaya. Really just about any bar scenes causes the video to be classed as Adult content. I have tried cutting my videos into small segments, and uploading them individually, these still were deemed as unsuitable for advertisers. So with this in mind, I do not monetize my videos, so you should not see any advertisements. I rely solely on my Members and those who subscribe to my other channel “David Strachan Living in Pattaya”

I liked the old soi made. In Thailand the bars where bigger and better the way they where better than myth night bar they should o left it the same way great stream and I am happy for u getting back on your feet nice one

Myth night is a funny place. I went there with a few of the Inferno Bar girls one night on their night off, and had a pretty good time. They had never been to Treetown or any of the Soi M.I.T area....they had a blast and to be fair that night it was pretty good....grabbed a bar with a pool table and had a bunch of fun. I can see that area being packed if there's a strong high season. The Six certainly looks quieter than i recall it, or maybe its just that I wasnt fending off hands while I watched it..."handsome papa" and all. Cheers mate

My feelings these days are is high season really worth the hype if I go in November or if I go in may the bars, the girls and the fun is all still there regardless of what time of year I go. Other then more people and higher prices lol what makes high season so special?

I walked down Sois 7 and 8 the other night. I hadn't been there in MANY years. It has changed a great deal. Still didn't like the feeling that I kept having to look over my shoulder to avoid getting hit by a motorbike or van.
Regarding the rain. Last night (Tuesday Oct 26th) it rained VERY hard around midnight. And Sunday was a bad night as it rained from around 6pm to midnight.
one day il pop over there for my holz but i dont drink booze only sugar free drinks

great video david glad to see you looking healthy again after having dengue fever i was ill in september coming back from pattaya went to doctor and he said it was covid even though im vaccinated you can still get ill from covid it was kissing about 6 bar girls .ive found a regular bar girl now to have a relationship with and not kiss as many girls on trip to pattaya in november but u still have to look out for the mosgitos there massive dodging them september .hope to see you around tree town in november found a few cheap flights transiting though china so hope to see u in tree town in november glad your well again.

the mit bars in myth night look way better than the old ones..sure quiet now, however, i'd like to see it when high season kicks off before i get out there end of the year...if one was to stay at somerset or hilton, they'd be myth night in no time...Big congratulations on the wedding good sir
Cheers Curtis, I think they may do ok, it does feel very open and as you say the central end will probably get passing trade. A proper connection to Treetown would definitely help matters 🙏🙏

I was on the phone a couple of days ago and Boots Randolph was telling me he's kinda ticked off. James Q. "Spider" Rich isn't much happier. Nobody remembers them and miscredits Benny Hill for their creation. It is called "Yakety Sax" guys. Boots was happy Benny liked the track but didn't say he could claim credit for Boots and Spider's composition.

@DSPattaya I only noticed this once and that was only done when you were within feet of the couple. I am only saying it's dangerous you can get seriously harmed. But hey up to you as they say. You are probably making yourself a whole lot of trouble. Good luck
No have done it a couple of times, usually I just do a small section or put a bears head. I've also been contacted by a couple of guys to make sure they weren't on the video, before posting, which I always do check for them 🙏🙏
@DSPattaya What about the people that don't know you are filming. Just concerned I have seen it kick off a few times when I visit. One guy I know went looking for a guy that put him in a uncompromising position on you tube. Just watch yourself it's a bit dangerous from my experience good luck.

I like LK Metro and the Fever Bar best. They have absolutely NO music, but of course you may hear some from the other bars. Not nearly as deafening as some other ares, though. Besides, there are more customers in the Fever Bar than hookers.

David, great video as i.m.o. it shows exactly what I experienced last week when I visited Myth Night.As much as I tried but I honestly did not like it. It is too clinical; It is too bright with different music hitting you from all sides and as one can see on your video it is very very quiet. Also these bars all look the same...no own style. The ones in Pattaya that are busy even in low season all have vreated their own style. I wish them luck but for me I'll stick to LK Metro or Soi Pothole.
Could anybody count how many bars (etc) could you find between Soi 6 and Walking Street? How many tourists are needed to fill them all properly? I love Pattaya.

Agreed, fuck nose where the footfall/ patrons are gonna come from, all the bar areas at each end of MYTH already struggling to stay afloat.
Only in Thailand do they see a losing formula, I.e, treetown, and replicate it as if something different will happen.
