this was 2 years ago and at the time i do believe barely any korean person knew loona, but now, after 2 years, chuu became really popular over there and loona also gained a lot of attention bc of queendom so i strongly believe that has changed

I was at KCON 2019 LA, and it was definitely LOONAcon. The screams when they were performing Butterfly were unbeatable.

i'm so glad you are reacting to loona!!! but most of the stuff he said in that video is a very outdated since the video was from late 2019. i suggest just watching the solo videos in chronological order (teasers included) along with loona tv (extremely short videos) if you really want to get to know each member !
they also have a bunch of other stuff like loona logs (their own self edited vlogs), the dance covers from 2019, loonathetam (a short show about loona, 2 seasons), loona note (newer and longer loona tvs), and chuu can do it (chuu's youtube channel about being more environmentally friendly)
if you really want to know what happened to loona in 2019, theres a video someone put out before episode 9 of queendom 2 that does a good job explaining all of the stuff that went down during butterfly era!

LOONA holds the famous two-minutes record for selling out (in Korea) the tickets of their 'X X' comeback concert.
LOONA has been growing in popularity in Korea since they won their first but fastest award on 'The Show' with 'So What' in February 2020 and has become the most successful 4G GG with 'Flip That', its seventh #1 in a row in the iTunes global lists, which also has won three mayor awards so far.
LOONA is the only GG who has been appointed as official ambassadors to spread Korean culture in 2021. The pandemic prevented their global activities.
LOONA is known as "the time killers" on TV shows like 'Weekly Idol', 'Inkigayo' or 'Fact in Star'.
