That's what I was thinking too. Regardless of who pulled the trigger, the gun should have never been out. This is all her doing because she introduced a gun to a situation that didn't need it.
Her lawyer demonstrated how the deceased squeezed the fingers of the defendant and pulled the trigger. Did the gun have the trigger guard missing? You point a loaded gun in someone's face from inches away someone is going to die. That's it in a nutshell. Guilty. You had no right pointing a gun at a man that had done nothing to hurt you or someone else. You just decided you wanted to be Cop, Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

Hannah Payne got life in prison. 30 years is a life term in Georgia. Those who committed serious violent felonies on or after July 1, 2006, must serve 30 years before being eligible for parole. Life in prison is mandatory for murder in Georgia. She got 30 years plus 13 years. That is 43 years. She will be eligible for parole when she is 68 if she does the 30 + 8+ 5. She showed no remorse for killing this man and lied about how it happened. My heart and prayers go out to the family of the man she killed, Mr. Kenneth Herring. It was her fault. She lied. Mr. Kenneth Herring's DNA was not found on her gun. She made an evil , ungodly decision, and it has caused the family of the man she killed, her family, and all those who loved them both great pain.
These conditions that are NOT ONLY applies to the killers/murderers of both Travis (36) & Gregory McMichael (66), William Bryan (52) who had committed both Felon & Malice Murders of Ahmaud Arbery (25) by also these very same conditions should also apply to Hannah Payne as well too which is, Hannah Payne (25) during & also after her prison/jail sentence is simply (NOT) Allowed to make any money for her actions as such as, Book Deals, Movie Deals, Social Media Deals, & or anything along the lines in any way, shape or form of making money of her experience, of her conviction & her trial at all and should any money should been made to going to a Fund for the Kenneth Herring's family and having this condition being imposed before & given in the nature of her case just to seek to make sure based on her actions have found to be guilty of murder that she (DON'T) Reap some sort of benefit profit of her actions via as such renumeration unto from anyone in form of Book Deals, Movie Deals, Consulting Fees, & Telling her story to someone for exchange of money at all of course.
MY THOUGHTS ALSO...SHE WANTED TO DO WHAT SHE DID AND NOW IT'S GOTTEN HER WHERE SHE IS...GOING TO JAIL...SHE KNEW SHE HAD A GUN AND IT GAVE HER POWER BUT IN PRISON THEY DON'T GIVE YOU A GUN...GOOD LUCK!
"I was being held against my will. I saw my life flashing before my eyes." Followed by *Tears and Sniffles.* Perhaps you should have minded your, you know, own business? 😂
From my perspective: I think Ms Payne's certificate to carry gave her a (false sense of entitlement) to take control of a situation that belonged solely to law enforcement! Justice has been served in this courtroom today. RIP Mr. Herring.🙏
Apparently she didn’t realize that there were witnesses that could see and hear her confronting the victim. None of them said what she’s saying happened.
There were also cameras and audio equipment that captured the exchange! There was so much evidence to the contrary of everything she stated. The only thing she truthfully admitted to was that SHE drew the weapon on him! But then STILL tried to blame him for how it was fired! So she lost control of HER weapon and that sounds to her like a defense!
Giving this lady, anything less than life sentence will be a mockery of the justice system and a further cheapening of human life . Not only is she guilty of taking a innocent man's life, she also guilty for not minding her business
@@Juke582 She's old enough to legally own the gun....she's old enough for adult prison time..... But I agree hopefully 30yrs minimum...but I'm hoping for life without the possibility of parole!

These people walking around armed thinking they’re all bad ass. She turned into the aggressor.
NO OFFICER OR DISPATCH will tell you to follow a suspect, witness, victim , or ANYONE! They will DEFINITELY TELL YOU NOT TO FOLLOW SOMEONE ESPECIALLY BY CAR .
The semi truck didn’t call 911 because they didn’t want their CDL license involved on accident report. She did this all on her own, got herself in a rage, shot and killed someone, and still thinks she didn’t do anything wrong. She was 100% wrong in this entire situation doesn’t matter what she thinks. Wasn’t her place.
If the victims car was extremely damaged from the wreck with the tractor trailer, once she got the tag number there was absolutely no reason to get out of the car to approach him. She thought she was “Annie Oakley “ with her little gun and shot him. Her testimony sounds like a complete lie from beginning to end. The only truth she testified to was her name.
She isn't pausing in her testimony to gather herself, she's pausing to make sure she tells the story how she rehearsed it. As guilty as sin. If she had just minded her own business and let law enforcement do it's job none of this would not be necessary. This is why LEO's undergo training.
She looks and reminds me of that Letica who got convicted of brutally torturing -killing-burning her Stepson and throwing him over the bridge in a suitcase.
She had over four years to rehearse this lie. To murder someone and then commit a deplorable character assassination is really despicable! Now she can ask herself.. was it worth it?
@30:23 -- "being held against my will." I screamed at my computer, literally when I heard this ridiculous BS spew from her entitled, Karen, fake ass crying mouth. I just can't -- how dare she?! Imagine being one of the surviving family members of Kenneth Herring (RIP) and having to hear that BS after SHE tracked him down, played vigilante Karen, yelling, cursing and barking orders at him, and then eventually murder him in broad daylight (accidently according to her) -- but showing absolutely zero remorse and in fact, CONTEMPT that the laws would actually apply to her. Unreal. 😳😬😡
I don't believe the jury will believe any of her testimony because she wouldn't even directly answer simple questions, let alone whether she was the one to pull the trigger or not.
If she pulled out a gun to yell for him to get out the car she couldn’t be close enough for him to grab the gun and shoot him self come on lady how stupid we look lmao
Well she could because she was actually punching Mr. Herring in the chest as per the testimony of one of the eyewitnesses. However, that witness also stated that Mr. Herring had no defensive posture, that he was just sitting there taking the blows. Which is why she stopped! She said it was shocking to see! Her testimony was in line with the Corrections Officer's characterization of a man who looked dazed and confused and was having a diabetic episode!
It wasn't only the family who claimed he was potentially having a medical emergency. The officer on scene said that as well - that his eyes looked an orange/ red color as if he was going into diabetic shock (whether he was or wasnt, he was not intoxicated) There was a police officer there if somebody needed to chase him he could have done it. It doesn't matter what he did to start it she shouldn't have played vigilanty justice. Anything she made the roads more dangerous by driving recklessly to keep up with him. Laws and morals don't just go away when you witness an accident. I'll add; it's just pretty convenient that she didn't hear the dispatcher tell her to stop chasing him
I'm very new to this case. I just started watching. So the driver wasn't intoxicated, there was a law enforcement officer on the scene, and this girl decided to chase and apprehend the driver who caused the collision? I certainly hope all the threats to her were on the 911 recording for her sake because I don't believe a word comes out of her mouth. Is she claiming self defense? Or accidental manslaughter? I will bet good money she's going to say "the gun just went off"
@@ajordan1976 .. Yes, she is claiming self-defense. she got out of her car and over to his window, by her account she did that to take him the phone and tell him that dispatch wants them to go back to the scene, but the facts say that she blocked him in while he was trying to turn and then got out of her car and went over to his window and pointed a gun at him.(I hope that they subpoena the officer on scene or get the 911 call) I know she alleges that he tried to take the gun from her and accidentally pulled the trigger himself in the process. As it seems you may have heard the 911 operator asked her to stop chasing him - she said she wasn't chasing, but only following to get his tags. (Oooooh big difference) they still told her to stop, but for some reason she doesn't remember that part. Regardless she was driving recklessly to keep up. That's what the witnesses have said, I've watched a couple of their testimonies as well And yes at the original scene there was a correctional officer, showed his badge. He was investigating before the police could get there asking them questions and he watched the man get in his car and drive away (assumingly to a hospital but we don't know that for sure). she testifies that the state trooper was looking at her like "ooh somethings up with this dude" (as if the officer would look at her as an equal, she didn't say that but it was implied). But the staple police and witnesses there say they think it looked like he was having a diabetis episode (idk if he was or not, but she claims he was intoxicated which I do know he wasn't) But yeah somewhere after that she ended up blocking him in a turn lane and making her way over to his window and in self-defense she had to shoot in point blank in the abdomen... Oops I'm sorry "he shot himself accidentally" with the weapon in her hand.. so yeah She's being charged with false imprisonment for blocking him in which she says she didn't do,
That’s why people need to chill the hell out in traffic because you never know when you’ll run into a murder like this woman. And NEVER get out of the vehicle.
She took a page out of the McMichael's playbook on how to kill a Black man and get away with it. Ahmaud Arbery was just out jogging on a Sunday morning and was chased down by 3 White men in GA that decided to not follow the 911 operator after calling to claim there was an intruder that just vandalized a empty house under construction. They too decided to take the law into their own hands by chasing him in a pickup truck and pointed a shotgun at him then ended up killing an unarmed Black Man who hadn't stolen anything and are now serving serious time behind bars for life without parole. Just saying! 😏
I'm watching this case from the UK 🇬🇧. This is what happens when you want to be a Karen, and take the law into your own hands. When the police were fully aware of the accident and would deal with it. Well now she has quite a lot of time, to think about her actions And thinking it was her constitutional right to take matters into her own hands.
She didn't pull the trigger? That's not true, that's ridiculous, and even if it was true, it's still her fault cause there would never have been a gun in the first place if she didn't act like a maniac! I feel so sorry for the man and his family.
She can't lie to someone who knows weapons, this weapon has a 9 to 15 shot clip depending on the cal. And series. The weapon has to engage a cartridge before it can be fired repeatedly. So she had to use both hands to engage a cartridge, so she engaged a cartridge well before she confronted Herring.
I hope they get a gun expert as an expert opinion statement in to show the jury that it's physically impossible that Herring shot himself. It sounds like it's not even possible that Herring shot himself when the gun was in HER hands.
This should be a lesson to all KAREN’s… Mind your OWN business!! Simple! Imagine going to life for simply not minding your business and thinking you can enforce the law. 🙄
This is why the US needs to be careful of who gets to carry guns! I’m a big believer in no guns but I do understand that some need guns for certain reasons so tell me why someone like this should have a gun?
Any and all the training she received went out the door when she chased the man and had the gun. She just showed she let emotions take control over training (and 911 telling her not to chase)
When you tell lie after lie, show no remorse, refuse to take responsibility, blame the deceased man for his own death, and play the victim card, expect the jury to convict you of all charges. Her lawyer better do a better job at the sentencing hearing or she may never see the outside of a prison.

Her lies were astounding to me! Hope the jury was shocked too!
She has such a classic Karen face. And her lies, the fake crying and vulnerability when she was “pulled in” the car. Everyone heard you ma’am , you were the instigator, you were the bully! I hope she gets life in prison or at least 20 years

She is either going to get life without parole or life with the possibility of parole. The prosecution offered her a plea deal of life with parole but she turned it down. Usually, you get a longer sentence than the plea offer.
Yes a classic with a thick neck
No Malice M* in Georgia is life no parole. I try to believe and trust in Jesus Christ and not hate or do no evil. But know this it's impossible to make friends with white people overall but, on a individual basis it's possible but not overall? Any- non white will ever be Sh** to the white race never, biblically Satan is Caucasian, look what she would have done to Jesus Christ the same thing, crucified him not for what he preached but simply because he was not born white? White America's damnation is it can't change spiritually neither has it ever entered into they mind to change for the better. Incapable of knowing the difference between good or evil or right from wrong spiritually?Jesus Christ said himself the world ( America especially white America Trump supporters) will get worse and worse until it's destroyed then made new? Satan biblically is Caucasian, but spiritually believers can repent, but many are called, but few are chosen, she is not chosen, but empowered by Satan?

Na that's not stupid...that's EVIL
She's an empty vessel. She needs validation and to feel important. She got the gun for that reason. And that poor man died for her to try looking like a big shot
And a minor fender bender where no one was hurt. People like her are so stupid. But yet they gave her a gun permit
Can you imagine getting in an accident and some crazy person like this shoots you . She had no right to get involved beyond giving his plate and a witness statement. Lock her up for life!
I would get to heaven hella pissed off. Like wtf just happened…🤦🏽♂️
I'm sorry but it's 2023. * it happened in 2019 but we knew better in 2019 as well * There's absolutely no way you would chase down a suspect in an accident you weren't involved with, get the tag number but insist on getting OUT OF YOUR CAR to approach the person, acting all hostile giving them orders and telling them the cops are on the phone that you held out in front of their face, with a gun on the inside of your pants, and make ANYONE believe that you weren't just GAGGING for a reason to shoot someone.
Did she have a dash cam? That would have got the tag!
Nah she had that gun and believed herself to be a cop and was going to make this guy do what she wanted . Sorry , but her story does not make any sense whatsoever. She said a cop told her to chase down this drunken driver ? Then said in her mind the dispatch told her the same ? She is delusional! She clearly thinks she is the law and she should and will go to jail . That jury is not going to have sympathy for her at all . The fact she didn’t tell dispatch she was carrying is enough to know what she planned to do . Be awesome to hear her repeat this story to Judge Judy lol she would tear her apart
This woman has anger issues, authority & accountability issues. Imo she doesn't need a concealed carry permit. She killed an innocent man because she was in a "rage" & not thinking clearly. This 63 year old man could have been in ketoacidosis. A medical emergency. He was confused. He was an insulin dependent diabetic. How could he "pull her into his truck"? How far was vehicle drivers window open?

These conditions that are NOT ONLY applies to the killers/murderers of both Travis (36) & Gregory McMichael (66), William Bryan (52) who had committed both Felon & Malice Murders of Ahmaud Arbery (25) by also these very same conditions should also apply to Hannah Payne as well too which is,

It is shocking that she never attempted to render aid to the victim. She is remorseless.
Giving this lady, anything less than life sentence will be a mockery of the justice system and a further cheapening of human life . Not only is she guilty of taking a innocent man's life, she also guilty for not minding her business

However, that witness also stated that Mr. Herring had no defensive posture, that he was just sitting there taking the blows. Which is why she stopped! She said it was shocking to see!

It wasn't only the family who claimed he was potentially having a medical emergency. The officer on scene said that as well - that his eyes looked an orange/ red color as if he was going into diabetic shock (whether he was or wasnt, he was not intoxicated)
There was a police officer there if somebody needed to chase him he could have done it.
I will bet good money she's going to say
"the gun just went off"
@@ajordan1976 ..
That's what the witnesses have said, I've watched a couple of their testimonies as well
And yes at the original scene there was a correctional officer, showed his badge. But the staple police and witnesses there say they think it looked like he was having a diabetis episode (idk if he was or not, but she claims he was intoxicated which I do know he wasn't)
But yeah somewhere after that she ended up blocking him in a turn lane and making her way over to his window and in self-defense she had to shoot in point blank in the abdomen... Oops I'm sorry "he shot himself accidentally" with the weapon in her hand.. so yeah
She's being charged with false imprisonment for blocking him in which she says she didn't do,

Right….because EVERYTIME a white person kills a black person it’s racially motivated. But never ever ever the other way around.
She told sooooooo many lies because she thinks she’s smarter than everyone.
I'm watching this case from the UK 🇬🇧. This is what happens when you want to be a Karen, and take the law into your own hands. When the police were fully aware of the accident and would deal with it.
Well now she has quite a lot of time, to think about her actions
And thinking it was her constitutional right to take matters into her own hands.
Amen I agree I’m watching this from Hawaii we don’t have to many Karen’s here but this fascinates and tickles my mind that people can be so selfish

She is going to do great on the ladies prison softball team!!
