Just got the Heng LongT-34/85 7.0 Metal upgrade. Great tank. Controls are better than my Torro tanks and the BB's shoot harder too. One third the price and I like it better.
Great review Steve and a little history thrown in as well. The Tank is Cool I've wanted one for a long time so it maybe time to invest in one myself. This is why I love watching your channel great variety of RC's something different all the time. Keep up the great work loving it man, Always 2 Big thumbs up from Me.
The only thing about Kendra long with some of their tanks it's the barrel recoil they need to get right because the tank does not jerk back and forth like that it's mainly Barrel recoil with very little Hull recoil...
Actual production numbers for both versions were T-34-76 = 35,119 , T-34-85 = 29,430 , plus the preproduction tank was the A-20 and A-32 which saw action against japan on a undeclared border war in 1939, --- and the T-34’s ended production in the 1960’s
Saw your review and bought one myself. The only two things I don't like are the typical Heng Long LED headlight and the suspension, which I have lowered. Otherwise a great model
The expected lifespan of these tanks was less than a month, so they were produced to low quality standards and was in fact quite crude. One example was that the track pins did not have retainers and as the track moved around the rollers, there was a angled piece of metal that would knock the pins back in! This simplified production which is why these were so successful. a single tiger could out range and destroy many of these before they could kill a King Tiger just like a Sherman. This and the Sherman are proof that soldiers lives have little to no value to those who start the wars!
Grease the Gears with Lucas Red and Tacky Grease, not too much. Especially if they are the Steel Gears. The Zinc Gears are not great but adding grease does improve them. The Nylon Gears need no lube but if I had them I would use a small amount of Silicone Grease as used in smaller scale Rail Cars.
The standard battery is shite. It is stated to be a 1700 or 1800mah but they are in fact a lower capacity at around 1400mah. Throw it straight in the bin and buy a good quality NiMh. I use Overlander Tornado 3300 and they are fantastic batteries with plenty of play time Invest in a decent charger too
My boys Birthday in April im a WW2 Eastern Front history buff. The T-34 was a game changer. Im gonna have to get this for my boy. Trouble is I wanna use it 😂.
But that was a great video by friend Trulia great video but you should have let that 234 run over some rocks and boulders or terrain with dirt or rocks her Beach or something that would really be a good video this could have just the grass
The hatch open for the TC figure lol you get them for this RC t34 on ebay for 18 bucks I'm gonna get one when get my t34 lol I'm a model builder mainly but seeing this iv just got to get one lol
It's a bit costly and at this price point it should have been equipped with high torque brushless system and should have been upgradable like hobby grade.
Eh? First mass produced tank with sloping armour? Have you not looked at the French tanks Even the bt 7 has sloping armour. Along with the t60. The crusader and covenanter don't count either?
Still a major misconception, even the renault ft had a sloping upper glacis and had approx 3,000 units produced. Although admittedly the t34 has approx 35,500 units produced, substantially more, but by no means the first mass produced. Along with approx 1100 covenanters, around 5000 a15 crusaders which both featured heavy sloping angles.
Absolutely right history as we know it would be different if not for the fabled T34/76 and later when the Russians were on a role the T34/85 picked up the slack.
Does anyone know why the T72 and the T90 versions come with the smaller battery and there bigger than the T34 don’t get it. Hopefully they remedy that one day. Fans of those two awesome tanks let’s swamp them with E-mails till they change it if possible....👍🏼
Try buy a spare link for each side so the metal tracks have there ori sag! That would look good they look pretty tight but they were till they stretched hench why they had that steel plate on the front inside to wallop the pin back in the links when came loose lol I love everything about this tank thrown together n put out to battle didn't give a monkies about them! They'd just throw another one in just like the Sherman's
I tried elongating the track, but it skips on the sprocket and doesn't run well at all. I lowered the suspension instead and it looks far more realistic
“A quality with quantity” why do you think so many where destroyed 😕 also the sloped armor usually never worked because the armor was often poorly over heat treated witched made the armour brittle and also they often had problems in the Soviet terrain however I agree with you that they made them poorly as they often did not last not really meant to be a complaint but please do more research 🙂
Got this rc tank for Christmas. Took 6 days to finish. Tamiya's old 1/25 Centurion Mk III display model they re-released as a rc model. th-cam.com/video/aRdP0gj5SB8/w-d-xo.html
Yes it took the Russians not very long to produce their tanks and get them on the combat line on the other hand Germany it took them too long to make their tanks this is why they were overpowered because Russia could produce more tanks then Germany and in a lot of cases during their tank battles the Russians would just Ram their tanks into the German tanks..

Does the turret fully rotate and the barrel?
Yeah but not full 360 degrees
is it worth upgrading the battery? Won't make it go faster?
Not really just longer run times

How long does it take for the battery to charge
If you are using the stock one probably over 3hrs
@@RCTanksTrucks247 thank, I just bought one so I was wonderi
Ahhh yes splendid 🧐
Most definitely 😂

Henglongs are completely upgradeable
211$ is quite cheap for an very detailed rc T-34

Thanks

Im a filipino but i can read what was on the tank on the cover
It says "Stalina!"
I never like the russian tanks dont look big enough i like my panther snd tiger and german tanks

Not a very realistic appearance. Needs to be covered with Russian infantry!
Still looks good in my opinion. It's a toy at the end of the day
