There are two things regarding the Gullit goal. The pass war forward, not backward (which would've make offside irrelevant) and this is before the 1990 change of rules. Under THOSE rules active at the time if one is in line with the last defender, they were offside. So strange but it was a legit offside
At 6:51 ball was out in pass , the mafia defender was ahead of Gullit, even passing the area line before him, the rule on those days was that you should be behind the last defender ……… another robbery by the mafia, this AC Milan was waaaay better than this mediocre mafia club would ever be

Perfectly good goal by Gullit in second half. For the life of me I can't see why it was disallowed.
The linesman flagged for offside but there clearly weren't offside
Because Madrid was often the recipient of generous decisions by referee in Europe. See Mijatovic offside goal in 1998.
