    I watched this video while reading all the descriptions of your videos and I could feel how solid it was to see the inside of the most historic brick fort in the United States! And I could feel that Fort Pulaski, which was meant to protect Savannah and the harbor, was impenetrable. Also, every time I watch your videos, I feel that the intro editing and thumbnails of your videos are also really good.

      @@CampsiteCruising My friend, thank you for your reply, and I think Fort Pulaski would be a great educational place for children.

      It was great to see. I wish we had more time. The back of it has big chunks out of the wall from canon fire.

    They don’t build forts like this anymore. I went there as kid.

    That's one I'll add to my list. It reminds me of the fort in San Augustine

      Castillo de San Marcos was the first fort like that I ever went to. It’s definitely bigger than this one. The steps to the upper level of this one were a little sketchy.

      @CampsiteCruising I'd probably keep my feet on the ground. Haha. Since Bishop castle I've been watching my footing a bit more

    Since you asked, yes, I have been. It's a fascinating place, thanks for your xlnt videography. Did you know that the Chief Engineer of Ft. Pulaski was Robert E. Lee?

      @CampsiteCruising  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@StokedToker I knew he was sent there during/ for construction from a video I saw. I didn’t know about him being the Chief Engineer. Thank you for sharing that.
      We have to go back again someday because we missed out on so many things about the history of it and even exploring the grounds because of the time we got there.
      Thank you for watching and the knowledge; I greatly appreciate both.
