One mark of mastery is when you see the need and design for a specialized tool to make something better and easier, like this. Nice work. One-handing an angle grinder while you hold the metal with vice grips is pretty challenging. I'd get a bench vise to hold the metal so I could use both hands to hold the grinder if I were doing much of this kind if work. Yes, I know metalwork isn't the main thrust of this channel, so that's just a suggestion for next time. Nothing wrong with this for an occasional one off piece, clearly. The result speaks for itself. (And if anyone with less metalwork experience is going to try this, don't doubt that this craftsman is wearing safety goggles while doing the metalwork...)
I just acquired a vintage Adler that does this and found it valuable just to see what it's for! I'm grateful for the unexpected bonus of learning to make new feet!
Cesar, I've been watching hit videos for a while, picking up hints to help me with some of my diy stuff here at home. I've learned a ton! 👍 The one thing I can't figure out is how to say the name of your channel and what it stands for. (sorry... Dumb gringo here...). I really love the way you make a custom tool when you need one with minimal shop tools! Right down to using a concrete nail for a center punch! I do much the same, making do with what I have, but now I'm fortunate enough to own many tools for different purposes. It's always a pleasure to watch you work! (Yeah, OK... It also gives me some new ideas that I hadn't thought of! 😉)
The name of my channel is cechaflo...it is really a strange name, but it is the abbreviation for my three names. ce-cha-flo Ce comes from Cesar and so on. I used the sharpened point concrete nail, and others, on purpose. I like to encourage my followers to not be stopped if a tool or accessory is missing. I used to work in mechanics in the past. I was involved in hydraulic systems for presses, small and big. I like this field a lot, despite being oily and dirty. In this video I am using a correct center punch: th-cam.com/video/YDiyffeXleg/w-d-xo.html
Since I’m a metal guy my heart always bleeds when it comes to the manufacturing methods, but the resulting piece works flawless as usual. I like it 😁👍.

I got some inspiration after watching a photo at the Hog Ring Forum. I tried to find a similar presser foot for my machine on internet with no success. That's why I made up my mind to make one for my Adler machine. www.thehogring.com/2012/06/06/photo-french-seam-piping/
Is there a name or parts number for the lower double needle thingy? I have a Pfaff 1245 and just yesterday ditched the clutch motor and installed a servo motor. Now that I can handle the speed of the machine I‘m on the outlook for accessories such as this double needle thing, if there is such a thing for the Pfaff.

This type of mind set is great!! Come to a wall- drill it, climb it or go around it!!🙏🏽

I see you have a multitude of talents!?! Awesome!!
I am fanatic of industrial mechanics. I have some knowledge on hydraulic systems for heavy duty machinery.
I have a quest/ thirst for making things too!!! Cutting one tool and adding length to said item; to accomplish my goals!

Iron or alluminium? Great job!
It is iron.

Thanks 😊
how did you make the piece that holds the needles
A lathe/milling operator made the cube piece to hold the needles plus the two holes to let the thread pass through.
Thank you
can a normal industrial walking foot take 2 needles, or do i need a different model

Hey Boss what size thread are you using?
Polyester thread 207 size for the top stitches. Thread 138 size in the bobbins.
Thank you
