I don’t think they realize how much that album meant to a lot of us “old heads”. Most of us were in the prime of our “teen angst” years, and that album/this song was the soundtrack to a lot of those years. I hope they play this again, soon….also hope Dallas recovers from that accident 😢
Good grief this song makes my heart skip beats. This was the first Underoath song I listened to, after it first came out. I’m 42 now and hearing it takes me back 20 years.
I was fortunate enough to see them with Dallas and this album played live in a tiny ass bar with 3 other people in the back of a bowling alley. I'll never forget it. Still one of my favorite albums of all time.
Im a 34 year old dude fighting back tears. A lot happened in my life, never shed a tear. I don't know why I'm fighting back to hold these tears. It's like I remember I used to feel something.
I thought I'd never get to see this song live. Still can't believe I was there. Now I can only hope they'll play "Alone in December" someday. Thanks for the quality recording!
The only guys who'd even remember that song are Chris and Aaron LOL. None of the others would were in the band at that time and probably didn't have to play them. And, with respect to Corey I doubt they'd play it. Let it rest with Corey.
The camera getting knocked by crowd surfers? The same keyboardist absolutely going nuts in the background all these years later? This entire recording in itself is just... *Chef's kiss*
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! For posting this... didn't get to go to this festival as I was planning on doing. And seeing they played this song live just brings big ol' tears rolling down my face as I'm watching from my bedroom. Been a fan since I was 12 years old, I'm 30 now. Never got a chance to see them when they still played this live and maybe I won't ever get to now, but at least I saw they did this 17 year's later and someone got it on video on real good definition, it means the world to me to see this happening on 2021. I'm feeling super emotional as I'm typing this... long live UØ. Thank you once again. 🙏
Such a shame that the divorced themselves from such an amazing album and important time in the scene. I saw them in 04 warped and took it for granted hearing some of those songs because I never heard those songs live again. Glad they finally caved and gave this classic one last go all these years later!
Just, wow.. Can't believe they played this. I know why they're reluctant to play these oldies but they should honestly do it more! Playing "Alone in December" would be absolutely devastating live. That song is a gem! This whole album was amazing.
They need to play Cries Of The Past man, Walking Away is my favorite song from them other. I don't like any thing after the changing of times besides O and their old stuff was just peak. I'm not really a metalcore fan and more just a metalhead.
Fun fact: In the intro, James is actually playing the lead part while Tim sticks on the arpeggios (The rhythm guitar) On the early days, Tim first played the intro and then the lead part. Looks like James wanted to play that part at least one last time lol :3
I love how several people already knew when the sun sleeps when he said they haven't done it in 17 years. Fuck, and not doing this again sucks. Changing of times will always be my favorite record
i met them when they played in Manassas in early 2000's , I got all there autographs and even made the singer laugh. I was the only person at the end of the show to meet them all. what an honor to watch this again in 2021, thanks for the upload.
when they said theyll never do this again... OUCHH.. this is my fav underoath song so big L for all of us who never saw it live. THANKS for uploading this gem though, my nostalgia is through the ROOF. Def cried.
It’s bs. Should be a part of their line up every show. I mean shit Norma Jean still plays “Memphis will be laid to waste” and I don’t think there is a single original member from when that song released
Hardly any of those bands do I get they have been around for a long time and you made a lot of hits but for those old fans who grow up with your first album you can at least play one or too songs from it
Got chills, I grew up with underoath, started listening when I was like 5 lol. they’re only chasing safety came out when I was 6 for reference, but this was the first underoath song I ever heard as a kid, I grew up around metal and musicians who loved it so I loved it. I would’ve loved to have heard this song live it’s so nostalgic and I got chills up and down my spine watching this. It’s such a good song I wish they’d play it more, I’ve seen underoath live a lot of times and I would’ve went crazy if I heard when the sun sleeps live. This crowd was so lucky man.
I luckily got into underoath when the changing of times came out, thanks to my sister. I was 12. This album had such a huge impact on my musical taste and one of the reasons I started my musical career. Front to back, this record is flawless. I hope they play this more someday. There's a lot of us 30 somethings that hold this album to the heart. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Holy shit. I really love this song. Thank you for record this!
I want to see them play some songs from Spencer first band "this runs through" too. I'm so glad someone got this video. Changing of times is their best album
You can honestly see how much Aaron pumps up Spencer this is amazing! Great shot unbelievable how it went half the song before you got kicked in the head
lol this is awesome. i remember being in Atlanta and thinking how lucky i was to be at their "farewell" shows and i finally, finally got to hear Reinventing Your Exit live. i would freaking loooove to hear this live. i bought Changing of Times from Walmart back when i was 15

When the sun sleep is a masterpiece
It's actually pretty sad that they'd never play it again, it's an awesome song
They said that 17 years ago.. I’m sure they’ll play it again in another 17 😎
Well there stuff now sucks so you dont want people to know how they used to put out better music
