This cover was the first i ever heard, and its amazing, fantastic...a new generatin plays this masterpiece....Chapeau, i`m impressed...Thank you Sina and all the other musicans...you did a great Job...and make my first day in 2025, to a lucky day.
Not one iPad, no chord charts - all performed from memory to perfection. I cannot believe how good this performance is. Brought me to tears. These kids were brought up right!!
You really nailed it! Thank you all for the effort, and splendid results. The last song you chose for this production was perfect. You, and all the people you worked with on this, rock.
Brilliant ! I have to say the left hand backing singer has a very Daltrey look, love to hear real performers giving it all. And doing it so well and full of feeling. And Sina - you got the feeling :) 11/10 all round Real music lives - rock on in 25.
I’m 60 and a life long who fan. I must admit to being reluctant to click on this video out of fear. Boy was I wrong! This take on Tommy is a revelation. Thank you for rekindling my passion for this classic.
Chills! Beautiful on all fronts! Loved in Christmas when they went around to each musician to sing, "Tommy can you hear me!?!", and the "Yeah" at the last chorus. Excellent and faithful to the original, and also NEW too! Bravo!!!!
This is BEYOND AMAZING !!!!! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! Amazing performances, and yes I turned it ALL THE WAY UP, of course. I was brought to tears it was so thrilling! Great way to start the new year too.
Woaow... playing myself as a drummer in a "The Who Tribute Band" (played in the spirit of the "Live at Leeds" album), I know what it is only to learn the drum parts... I t took me about two months of daily work, listening, deciphering and decoding Keith's intricate and complex parts. I say a huge "Bravo" to you and your whole team. You made a very good interpretation of this extraordinary rock opera. Cheers from Switzerland.
Sina and friends, I'm 68 and I once locked myself in my bedroom for a week to learn this album. I have often been harsh about the lack of "Old School" in today's music. What you did here is give a younger generation some roots to look back to. Great Work the best by far!
Wow! must be 50 years since I saw the movie. Still great, and so brilliantly performed. I'll pass it on to my son, who is a student of music - thanks all.
As a decades-long fan of The Who, I must say that this is probably the best cover of their music I've ever heard. Congratulations Sina, and to everyone involved!
Truly an emotional experience. A wonderful performance by each and every one of the artists involved. And, Sina, you really channeled your inner Keith Moon! I will be back to enjoy this again and again.

Vielen Dank für die superprofessionelle und emotionalisierende Performance. Sina, Du bist eine wirklich virtuose Schlagzeugerin. Keith Moon wäre stolz auf Dich!

Hello You Tube community … if you’re a Tommy fan you are in store for an Amazing Journey, if not you will still marvel at these wonderful musicians and Sina’s tremendous tribute to Keith. Just fabulous. I saw this earlier today because I’m a honored and proud Patreon supporter. This production would cover more than my annual contribution that’s how good it is. Super!
❤ WHAT MASTERPIECE That was a World Class Production * 2024 is almost over, and I can say without a doubt, that was the Greatest Performance of the Whole Year ❤ Looking forward to what 2025 will bring ON SINA DRUMS 🥁 ❤
My TH-cam history indicates that I have been following Sina for over 11 years. I don't think I have missed any, when I see one, I watch/listen to it. This was one of her best videos. Thank you, Sina. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I think when she's playing alone she's so focused on her music and perfection that smiling for the outside world is farthest from her mind - but you can see her smile at the end when she emerges and is aware of the world again. Here she has brought together all these other musicians and is encouraging them in executing her vision as much as she's doing her own drumming. We all appreciate her drumming talent but I think her talents as a leader--someone who brings people together and makes things happen that wouldn't have happened without her--are just beginning to be seen.
My god this is just brilliant. The greatest 30 minutes on YT. What a group of talented musicians. It just blew me away. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift.
Oh my God! Being from the era when The Who started playing, this is an extraordinary interpretation. Excellent musicians and singers! I have been following you since you started playing, Sina, and you are unique in the world of music. Congratulations!
I am sure Pete and Roger (Keith & John RIP) will have happy hearts when they see these young people doing such a fantastic interpretation of their Rock Opera PS: I was in the film version (we bunked off school to be extra's lol) Sina: Keith would have been happy good work xx
Welp, I have already left a few comments while watching. What a surprise on the last song (not giving it away!) and making this "your own" too. So creative and beautiful to everyone involved. Puppet Tommy Daltrey was awesome too! :)
Congratulations, Sina, on all the artistic and musical projects you're pursuing. I hope your channel gains more and more exposure-you truly deserve it! ☺
This made my whole day. Has a big who fan you all did such an awesome job. Keith moon is one of my all-time favorite drummers and I am sure he is smiling down on Sina
Danke! Ich wollte nur mal kurz reinschauen. Nach 30 Minuten dachte ich dann, schade schon vorbei. Da hilft nur eines. Alles auf Anfang und nochmals anschauen.😊
I bought the album on the day of release. Have played it so so many times. I am now 74 and followed Your Amazing Journey and always been so impressed with your talent but this group of singers and musicians have left me in awe. Thank you so much. Somehow get Pete and Roger to see and hear this.
This is wonderful, the musicians and vocalists. Sina is amazing on drums playing Keith Moon is no easy task. I saw the Who perform Tommy live in 1969 in Philadelphia at the Electric Factory, one of their first tour stops for the American tour. A phenomenal concert, starting with song hits then Tommy played NON stop, ..start to finish. AMAzing . My Hat is off to Sina and her associates here. It is wonderful that such young really good talent is ab, le to create a cover like this.
Tommy first came out when I was in my mid teens. That was a long time ago... I have to admit that I did shed a few tears while watching this masterful performance of the iconic rock opera. Thank you to Sina and the whole ensemble for a beautiful "trip down the memory road" as it were. Proof that young musicians CAN play really good music.
Wow, wow, wow. That was amazing. Really, it was so impressive. Thank you to you (as always for being great) and all the others involved. That has reignited my love for Tommy and it's going to be the first album I listen to in 2025. 2025 started whilst I was mesmerised with this great performance by you and the others. Thanks again.
Outstanding, I was 9 when this came out and my 2 older brothers listened to it constantly so I learned the singing part, Jack ( oldest brother played guitar) Jim, the brother in between was a drummer who could read drum charts. He took lessons from Judy Garlands long time drummer. I’m 65 now but The lucky part was I could still sing very high notes and knew vocal harmonies from my father who was an arranger for the four freshmen, the precursors to The Beach Boys. Those were great times and I thank you all for such an amazing interpretation of this classic. My old hats off to all of you.
You made my youth revival... How many times have i listened to Tommy... All is perfect, the guitarists, the bassist, the singers, the choir, the pianist...and the drummer, as good as Keith Moon himself ! It was goosebumps at every song... A huuuge thank you , Sina 👍👍😘😘😘🌹🌹🙏🙏
Thanks! Wonderful, I'm old enough to have seen the Who through the ages of thier career. Great to see young musicians play actual instruments instead of preprogrammed beats. Keep the music alive my friends. ❤😂
Totally awsome, and amazing; and akward; I have no words; to show my apreciation to your work. So now I only wish to hear a long solo, of your creation as the Master You become. Sweet Sina
This absolutely blew me away😊 As someone who was listening to this when it was first released, it's special to see and hear young musicians performing their own version. Top work by everyone involved. Great talent, so good to see🙂
I agree! Superb arrangements and deliveries by everyone! I was following The Who before Tommy was released! Wife and I saw the movie when it hit the local theatre. Loved the closing song! No, this video was not too long, it was not long enough!!!! I missed The Acid Queen! Fantastic job from all!!!!!!!
What a way to start the New Year! It was amazing and i would have watched it for hours, your energy and creativity are second to none! You and all the musicians and the singers were incredible !!! Your interruption of Tommy was so awesome, I felt like I was there in the studio with you all. Thank you so much , this was the highlight of my New Year day! Peace and love from New York....
Bravo Sina and Everyone for this Magnificent Live achievement, you're all Brilliant Musicians and this is one Extraordinary Beautiful MusicVideo!!!✨🎼⭐💖✨👏👏👏👏👏👏🤘✌️
As a longtime fanatic of the movie (not so much the stage version), and a lifelong musician who knows every note and word of the soundtrack, I was prepared to be less than blown away. I couldn't be more wrong. I'm normally not big on "reimaginings", this struck a chord (sorry). This is beyond excellent!! As a long-time Sina fan, I should know better. The talent and energy held me throughout.
WOW!!! Super Performance Fantastic I love it 👏👏👏👏👏👏🎼🎶🎶🎵🎵🔥🔥🔥♥️✨👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Singer and band members remind me of "school of rock -the final countdown" Happy new year 🧨🎇🎆
Gracias Dios por la música!!! Gracias a Townsend, Daltrey, Entwistle y Moon!!! Y gracias Sina & company por éste apasionado tributo que me ha hecho llorar de emoción!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Just like Pete Townshend, Sina has proved to maintain artistic ambitions for big projects, which they both can keep hatching for a long long time, regardless of all the effort and huge amount of bills 😉 That’s one of the reasons why I support Sina. The widescreen shot of the studio with the large number of the personnel in the studio with all the equipment shows the wide scope of the whole scheme. Even before, all the musicians in the project have proved out to be the best combo to bring out the real essence and core of the Who’s intentions. The guitarist even looks like Pete with his posture and gestures 😊In addition to that, all the lead and harmonic singing is wonderful here! I know that Sina loves Keith Moon as a drummer and so do I. He broke all the boundaries: He was wild, creative and unorthodox to the utmost and still, he was the glue in the band and could carry and support all the other players, often even humming along the lyrics 😊 My heart fills with joy when I see Sina play Keith, she is the best drummer to do that!! She’s absolutely the living motor and heart in this whole thing for me. She’s just like Keith, the throbbing heart. I like Tommy opera, for sure, but I must admit that some of the songs are just average in this opera but there are two songs that reach out above the usual and end up to the level of immortality: Pinball wizard and I can see for miles, and the renditions of both in this project are more than I could ever require. They are priceless diamonds that are needed to make this opera alive. Super duper thanks to everyone. You are fabulous and I love you all so much!!
Side 1 of _Tommy_ is what made Keith Moon my favourite drummer, the only favourite anything I have in music beside my 2 fave instruments, piano and violin. This video made me relive the magic. Great musicians, thanks to all and to Sina.
This was just so unbelievably good from all concerned. Absolutely fabulous. I can't praise it enough. I remember the Who playing this in the 70's and this was every bit as good.
Simply phenomenal production!! I discovered Sina in 2018 soon after my wife passed, and her videos helped me thru a very difficult time. A huge thank-you for that time and the years since. ❤❤❤❤
I know exactly what you mean. I lost my wife of 32 years recently. Watching some of the incredibly talented young people in youtubeland has been a great distraction from everything for a few minutes..
Those thirty minutes went by so fast, and certainly better than what passes as entertainment on TV over recent years. I can only imagine how many hours of organising / practice / performing / editing and post production goes into making this video. All i can say is that it was worth all the time and effort IMO. Thank you Sina for providing many hours of enjoyment since i stumbled upon you six or so years ago. Have a great 2025.
Very nice performance, i am enjoyed listenning THE WHO Experience, a journey through the life of Tommy, i see them at there 50th anniversary tour in Montreal Quebec, well done performance ,,Pingball wizzard are Super,,, Alain,, greeting from Canada
Impressive. A strong start that really takes off with Pinball Wizard. Using the puppets for continuity is a brilliant idea and carries the story along well. I do miss Acid Queen. Summarizing the 4th side of the album into 'I can see for miles' is a bold move. After a second listen I see where you're going with it and it works. Townsend might complain - or maybe not. Age mellows us all - even rock stars. What's undeniable to geezers like me who were around when Tommy came out is how incredibly cool it is to see you all rocking out on music from the greatest era of rock.
Little Lady, you give me back the hope in humanity. I am full with joy that you back. I had the good fortune to play with some of the best drummers (and many of kinda good but..) When I discovered you in your early carrier you were as the DRUMS it supposed to be. I was sitting at the edge of my seat to cheer for you to get back to the One after a fabulous rool. And you always did it! When you started to study i was sad that you lost some of your wildcat groove .. The greatest, Charly Watts, Ringo, AND of course Keith Moony had the heat and the rebellion. Real music is nothing but all about emotions ! Music is all about the perfect imperfection! Lady, now you are up to Keith Moon! Dont try to chase the perfection of a a drum machine ever again, please. A very small note, In my first so 8 years I started as a base player. What I discovered that this kinda music is not just the drums alone. It is the drums + bass together the rhytm force. The Who would be a lesser band without John Entwistle in my humble opinion. Keep and eye on your bass player as your extension. Anyway CONGRATULATION all of you. Beautiful and talented YOUNG! people I have pretty much enough of old fartz overtaking the music scene. Keep on rocking !!!

Dear Sina, ich bin schon seit langer Zeit ein Fan. Aber dieses Video ist echt super und hat mich an meine Jugendzeit erinnert. Mach weiter so.
Thank you for your music! You are so great, Sina. I love your taste, and the way you interpret and render the best progressive rock musics.
Thank you so much for your support!
Ganz großes Kino, Sina. Habt ihr echt toll umgesetzt. Bin begeistert.👏👍
a WONDERFUL production! incredible tribute! thank you all, for this remarkable end to 2024! ❤
Just an amazing tribute to a great band. Made my eyes leak. Thanks to all.
Mine as well...
This was just so unbelievably good from all concerned. Absolutely fabulous. I can't praise it enough. I remember the Who playing this in the 70's and this was every bit as good.
You all should be proud of what you have just accomplished. I hope Pete and Roger See this they would be proud as well. Continue success and rock on.
The lead guitarist even looks a bit like the young Pete!
Thank you so much!
My the Same my dad was self kiling 2018 i was so down! The Music from Sina is so good for my Soul and Hope! 😢
I must have seen over a thousand of video's on TH-cam this year. This is the one I enjoyed the most. By far.
Well said and so true for me too.
Thank you so much!!!
Very nice performance, i am enjoyed listenning THE WHO Experience, a journey through the life of Tommy, i see them at there 50th anniversary tour in Montreal Quebec, well done performance ,,Pingball wizzard are Super,,, Alain,, greeting from Canada
Liebe Sina! Was für ein Geschenck ist das! 30 minuten tribute to Keith! Great Job, Great Band, All Good! Vielen Dank! It’s me CB
Really, really, really well done! Perhaps there's hope for music after all. 😉
" I do miss Acid Queen" +1
Sina, can you please consider doing a cover of the song "Return to Fantasy" by Uriah Heep? Thanks
Sina, you don't know it, but you're my new hero.
