This was my first Tekken game but I remember going to Dave and Busters at the palisades mall where they had this game it was always the first game I’d go to and I would get as far as the fourth stage. My first Tekken game on console was Tekken 5

Rooftop stage is goated forsure. The music legit builds the atmosphere of the stage. No other song in the whole earth would fit that stage 😂

22 years old and this game still looks good. The nostalgia is oh so strong.
Despite the character total count is quite thin like TEKKEN 2. TEKKEN 4 only had 21 whilst 2 had 4 more characters, with 25.

I remember getting a PS2 slim with this game, F1 2005 and Jak & Daxter 2 demo back in 2006. Miss those times.
Dont forget also the F1 04 and all PS2 NASCAR games.😊
The camera angles in this game made it so modern/dynamic! ...wish they had incorporated it in Tekken 8.
Tekken 4 has like his own atmosphere
The same also in TEKKEN 5 and 8. Also TEKKEN 4 has 4 of the 21 characters that have the final boss characters that are NOT Heihachi. Hwoarang facing Jin, Kazuya facing Heihachi and Lee facing Combot.
I love the Airport theme so relaxing and catchy

Heoarang’s ending was my favorite. I still remember the scene where Jin and Hwoarang were fighting soldiers when I first played it. It was one of the coolest endings in a Tekken game so far.

TEKKEN 4 in terms of graphics and character models, for a 2002 PlayStation 2 game, was far ahead of its time. Even way ahead of TEKKEN 7, a PS4 and 5 game from 2017!

I have vivid memories of watching my older brother play this game in my grandmas house in Mexico when I was 5. Marshal law & Kazuya looked like my uncles so I would always call them my tios. This game & soundtrack is so beautiful nostalgic to me & I always tear up during Xiaoyus ending

Us PS2 players were so spoilt back in the day. Tag Tournament was released in 2000 and 4 was released in 2001..... Two Tekken games in two years =)
