Jesus probably isn’t coming 40 days after the eclipse, but God does send sign of His coming so we know to be watchful. 40 days can be symbolic of a period of trial, or other things. I don’t think we should just write off sign of His coming, but no, we can’t pinpoint an exact moment that He will come. Just rejoice that it’s near :)

The psalms are a good for prayer. Many of them were written as prayers. Also, a simple pattern you could follow is ACTS. Adoration (that's saying how great and awesome God is) Confession Thanks Supplication (requests for things) If you are confused about "end times" stuff, there's a great book free online called The Returning King by Vern Poythress (you can but his books but he puts them all online free because he wants to make sure money doesn't keep people from accessing them). I know it sounds crazy but tell him to try an herbal parasite cleanse and then take a high quality probiotic. Gut dysbiosis is an important part of the depression puzzle. I don't think this is a sign of the end times. If we could predict the sign, it's not a sign. Maybe I'm wrong though, we'll find out, according to him, 40 days from April 8th, so May 18th. However, due to the mass hysteria from even our own governments, they are going to do something stupid during the eclipse. But they are also the government, so it's not surprising.

The only way to get to the Father/Yahweh is through His son Jesus/Yeshua and if you reject Yeshua you automatically reject Yahweh. Just start with family members that aren't saved, reach them. Then your neighbors and show them love. These are our mission fields and easily fitting into our lives. Pray for them and talk to them about church and Jesus. Offer help to tough times

Signs aren't to say his exact date and location, but they are 100% a warning that It will be soon. We still don't know, but we know he is getting ready. I know it sounds crazy but tell him to try an herbal parasite cleanse and then take a high quality probiotic. Gut dysbiosis is an important part of the depression puzzle. If he likes fishing take him fishing, if he’s a billiards guy go shoot pool. It could be cars, atvs, trucks, exercising, etc. Whatever it is support him in conquering what he likes. @sydthakid1708 true. But I don't think it will happen in our generation, even tho lots of people believe so. I think the good will defeat evil and we will live in somewhat peace. There were two world wars in 20th century, so many deseases, so many apocalipses and we are still here. You would think all these were signs from God that Jesus is coming but he hasn't.
First, antichrist has to be announced as the leader of thw world, then the churches has to close down, then there will be MAJOR apocalyptic events throughout the entire world and that's when we all know the ending is near.
So no, I don't think the eclipse 2024 will be the end of the world. In fact, I don't think the end is near at all.
I think we living in this crazy mess is just a test on humanity. Will we ever learn our lesson? Will we choose God over Devil? These things need to be cleared up first.
