    You know you're a legend when you have a 1025 total and that still feels underwhelming by your standards. Hope we can see him and Jesus battle eventually

      @Morris.Andrew 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Jesus definitely has him in the bench and deadlift where they could go head to head in is the squat, but Jesus would definitely start inching his total ahead of rays leading into bench and ending in the deadlift.

      Well tbf there are guys like rondell who totalled 1045 at 120kg

    • @Morris.Andrew
      @Morris.Andrew 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @modemaranquiles5760 thats true and I believe he was a JR in this last meet he did and he really already surpassed Jesus and took his JR records. He's going to be the one to give Jesus a run for his money. I love Jesus he came out of no where with some remarkable strength and I want to see him win, but it will be hard to say when you have a guy with talent like that behind him.
      Edit: never mind you're referring to someone whose in the 120kg and not in Jesus's weight class, that guy is still remarkable because samkharadze is the one I was thinking of who beat all of Jesus's records in the jr category while competing open. The guy you mentioned only totaled 20kg less than the guy I just mentioned who came in 2nd against Jesus, if he were to move up a weight class, I am unsure how he'd peform against the two just because of the level of strength he's already displayed. However that's a strong man you mentioned too.

      Either way man Ray williams just has an insane squat but a very underwhelming total compared to Jesus's in general, after all you heard what the announcers said Jesus holds the wr total at 1100, Ray Williams just cannot seem to match his best peformance, but is constantly coming close to it. His time has passed.

    Factcheck. Ray's best competition Bench press is 247.5 KG (545 pounds) done on March 2nd, 2019 at the Arnold (same comp he squatted that 490 KG and totaled that 1112.5 KG)

    Why do they have to use a wobbly squat stand with no safeties?

    • @brandonb120kg
      @brandonb120kg 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      It’s wobbly so it doesn’t break. And they don’t have safeties because the rack isn’t bolted down. They only use spotters

    • @heimtime_lifting
      @heimtime_lifting 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      If I’m not mistaken; in an open rack, the wobble is actually perfectly safe because it absorbs the shock on the rerack which helps prevent the bar from bouncing off the rack. The lack of safeties is for the spotters safety. It gets in the way of them doing their job. In an equipped meet not too long ago, the weight dropped on the safety and actually got caught on a spotters hand which was shattered and had to be amputated. Hope this helps.
