I think this song is honestly really revolutionary for Bollywood. That the lead actress isn't shying away and being innocent and coy. She's confident, feisty, and flirty. It's been 9 years...and this song and mv lives in my head. Not only is it so nice to hear, esp because of the bass, but the video is flawless. I love it when directors choose to portray our Indic culture in movies, instead of copying from the West trying to be "cool". Deepika and Ranveer worked so hard... those are some painful moves but their energy matches each other well, and not to mention, they're both HAWT 😍😂 Such an awesome song.

I don't mean just the dance moves but everything! the part where they flirt at the beginning and how their moves seem to be synced beautifully with the music.. or the part where they dance and he stops dancing and she bumps into him just in time of the clap and so them bumping into each other happens at the exact time of the clap sound... oh my.. don't ask how many times I watched this video, but you can't blame cos its just so visually captivating

I dont have the words to describe this video. Its so so fantastic. The way the music bursts in at the beginning never gets old, i could listen to it forever. The way she keeps her bright smile the first time she sees him and then just raises her chin the second time shows her character so well i cant explain it! And in the kal kal behta tha line the way he keeps her eyes on her even when he should turn his head left, just wow. A masterpiece.
Watching this & thinking how does it feel to have Deepika's face & figure. Damn. Some indian actors/actress facial features are so stunning. She portrayed like 10 different expressions within a span of 1 min, transitioning smoothly between each & just using her eyes and lips. Next level.

Can I just say that I really love this take on the first meeting of R&J, and I love the first meeting scene a lot it’s my favorite out of the whole play but this one took the cake and left no crumbs. like in all the other adoptions it feels like they have to talk in order to show that tension.
