Love this! I was looking for a pattern like this at Christmas time. I was making a gnome for my adult son. To say the least, I ended up doing it a different way. It worked ok but I would have loved to had this one. I might need to borrow his gnome back and redo the hat.

Your glue gun seems different. What kind is it?
Nope - the one in this video is the Surebonder detail tip glue gun (this was filmed back in 2020 about when I had just started using it). If you saw a yellow one in a video recently, it could have been the Cobiz standard (it's a good one, but bigger).
Do you have directions for the gnome the hat is on?

Emma, I don’t but this one might be able to be used. I think if you used the smaller of the two flap patterns to create the front and back flaps, it might work.
I’ll try and see if I can fit in some crafting to check
