The Japanese Island segment gives a distorted view of the health of those domesticated rabbits that inhabit the island, they are deeply malnourished and are preyed on by wild birds, Most have open wounds, cancers and terrible injuries which the tourists do not expect and are horrified when they arrive.
That last guy is lying through his teeth to sell his brand of aged wine. it's a neat thing to do but "sound" doesn't impact flavor at all and even if it did the sea isn't silent in the smallest bit.
Also, wine doesn't really age in bottles. I mean yes it gets old. But all the flavour notes he talks about can only be achieved if the wine is exposed to something else (like a barrel made with a particular wood, for example). He is simply using the sea as someone who buys wine uses his pantry.
I believe so too but it doesn't keep crime from happening, it stops it in a different way. I live in what is a small town now but what was so extremely small growing up that everyone knew eachother. Where you could keep a tab at the liqour store or gas station if you didn't have money and your vet or mechanic did all the work at your house for beer or 20 bucks. If someone was acting like an asshole somebody would say something and if there was a fight no police were called. People are too quick to not handle things themselves. Living in a tightknit community gives people a sense of piece because humans aren't made for isolation but its still human nature to be assholes sometimes and to mess up, that won't change it just gets handled differently.
The last three stories were amazing to me. I’d like to see longer segments on those. Thanks so much for sharing these stories, it’s a great way to wake up on a Sunday. 😊
I swear that floating house with greenhouses is one of my dream houses. I really want to live that way. The floating thing is not necessary but the concept of producing and hunting your resources is really what I want. It will be perfect if it had internet imo
