You made so many great points. It’s a great time to be an E bike enthusiast.

i’m pretty sure the Eride pro-s(17) went down in price aswell putting in range of the rawr mantis X and the Talaria xXx at 3500 with more upgrades

I think the oil changes in talarias are blown way out of proportion. I was really concerned about them too when I was still researching bikes but i learned you only need to do them every 5000km/3000miles. A couple times a year at most, probably less than once a year for most people. I'd take the 10 minute oil change every year for a quieter system any day. I wish the gear box was even quieter still 😂
The ERP SS 2.0 seemed to be closer to 10kw of power according to the Talaria Boys so that might be something to consider with these bikes also.
But i do agree, a lighter bike just seems more fun and agile.

Great video yep heavy bikes anything over 200 is heavy I got my Red 98v Altus Sigma on the way Batch 1 can’t wait to do the TH-cam review on it

Fun fact. The motor on the 2.0 is capable of handling 15 kilowatts. Although it is costly, if you have an x9000 controller for the 2.0, you can set a specific setting to run 15 kilowatts continuously, or taper it a little lower just to be safe

I just. Swooped a SRPNT after riding a mantis x and mantis. 160 weight seems perfect to me. I also ride a 430lbs zx6r and a 405lb zx10 24” cruiser and 26” cruiser and a couple 27.5 mountain bikes. That little extra weight with a link rear shock feel stable when wot on SRPNT through a corner 40-45mph. Gonna be solid when I swoop the 17” supermoto wheels.

Most of these technologies have been around a while now & from here on out, I expect what you get to get better for a lessor
amount of money. Competition is gonna go into attack modes if they want to stay in business? These bikes have been so far
overvalued that it's not even funny - monetary rape is what I'd call it but now we'll see more for less money as they compete
for our business. I'm glad you're out here evaluating stuff & if they can't give bikes that can go further on a battery, they are
needing to give you 2 batteries & a 1 hour quick charge piece of equipment. It actually exists & charging can be done faster
than what they're allowing us to have/do. LQQK for all sorts of better stuff w/ the Ebike Scene, I know I've waited for 4 yrs
already but finally I think we might see the price breaks? We shall see.... peace

Price and gearbox is really what stands out to me. I think the battery is nice but talaria is still owning the market. I prefer the ergonomics on the pro ss but I would rather do a oil change once a year than replace broken belts

Rawrr nailed it imo. Perfect power, weight, price combo for MOST people. It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. The X isn't exactly slow but it's not nearly the power of these new bikes obviously. Range is the only issue.
25kw is beyond overkill for these style bikes. I'd want a proper frame like the Varg at that point. 12-15kw is the sweet spot so now that we've hit it, hopefully prices will come down with all the competition. Maybe Surron will finally wake up

Now, if you want to keep the bike look that doesn't look like a motorcycle and want power and speed with a dual motor drivetrain with 6kw middrive look into the Cotton Mouth ebike! I would rather get the cotton mouth middrive motor and do my own build and design exactly how I want it to look like. Top speed 57 mph and running at full 6kw top speed was 67 mph.

67mph on a bike frame tho is very not safe I imagine

I'm good with not having a emoto I like my 60ah 52v ebikes 😂 I dont need power I want range but torque and getting to top speed would be the best thing to have to avoid cars or situations

I bought an mx5. I prefer the gear box. Belts are a failure point. They break and stretch over time.

Needs more range. Need me an ebike or moto that actually has decent range, preferably at least 60 miles going 30pmh+ for reliability

dont know why everyone complains about an oil change... it literally takes 10 mins and you do it every 3-5k miles after the first breakin oil change. 🤭

More power requires more batteries and that equals more weight, no way around it with current battery energy density. At these prices, speeds and weights, you probably should just man up and get a motorcycle.
