It feels like every game I play in 25 is manipulated bc everytime I play someone with a lower skill (I’ve been between purple and gold) or win % (lower than my 60) my game becomes slower, shot speeds are slower , I’m getting crazy amounts of delay sometimes, and my shots don’t go in when I perfectly time my js, I have a harder time grabbing loose balls or getting steals/blocks or just playing def in general like the game stops me from playing def or offense when it so chooses. Coincidentally there’s no option to turn off or lessen 2k assisting us on defense. That’s exactly why I deleted 25 this game will make your mental state worse if it already is bad
It’s crazy because I’ve spent BREAD on 2k with 5-6 builds and it’s so frustrating to not see any of the rewards from them. Like 2-3 of my build I’m happy with. I made a 99 dunker and yes I’ll get some contacts but like it’s almost impossible without rng to get contact lobs, it’s so frustrating and then a 90 dunker with aerial wizard on gold will get a contact lob. Like man, gtfoh - I hope 2k catch a mean lawsuit one day.

After the last patch the boards are terrible now, I have 99 o board high vert I average close to 20 boards a game, and I see players not even jumping getting the board, and how about the plays where the game will keep letting the offense get the ball until they get a open shot smh

If you have a lead 15 pts 2K is canceling out your players attributes and they only thing 2K is thinking is turnover the ball or make them miss to get the other team back in the game. 2K has shown it’s hand to cheat players right on there face to keep games close. You mastered your shot and 2K gives them as many whites as you geeen. Whites gave 2K license to cheat this year. If 2K26 ain’t green or miss leave that ish on the shelf. Gone be the same Ish but worse. At least if it was green or miss we can hold 2K accountable shooting wise.

I learned last year that you don’t need an Acc higher than 86. Get the same results as a 99 if you smart, some errand passes but most on point no matter how much higher than an 86 you go
I believe it’s the badges that do help not the number stays but they don’t have the animations to match the badge levels, I think that’s the problem all the animations don’t go higher as the badge level goes up
Crazy you made a video about this, I was just arguing with a 2k fanboy that said I was crying because I said a 99 steal should give you smooth steal animations, not a bigger forcefield to get bump steals. 99 attribute means absolutely nothing on this game. With 99 passing your passes should be sophisticated automatically. You can use pro pass settings and when you throw a bounce pass you throw it right at the legs of the closest defender. But then on the flip side a big with 45 pass can throw 85ft passes with pinpoint accuracy. Don't even get me started on alley oops. The games cooked.

The biggest issue is that 2k is animation based. And I think they did a bad job putting in a multitude of animations that equated to gameplay. That being said, the games are momentum based, that's why the crowd reacts a certain way, 2k wanted you to strive at home, or winning and struggle away or losing. Your teammate missing off legend dimer is a timing issue and of course the jumpshot and the RNG.

Every year they making dunking worse & worse. I understand that 23 was egregious with the Limitless Takeoff badge & dunk meter system (slightly early’s & slightly late’s) but all they had to do was keep the 24 dunking system & adjust dunk meter success rate / green window size based on the defensive player’s Anchor badge level & the offensive player’s Posterizor badge level. Instead they made the green window invisible & the game is so delayed that you can’t time it correctly without the paint being wide open. Don’t even get me started on playmaking, ISO-ball is practically dead because the dribbling mechanics are horrible.

So I usually just ignore the other player and just dropstep and dunk. I’d rather make the pass and get the open 3 :/

I've always said they're turning into EA go figure Mike Wang worked with EA but it's really called DDA Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment which has been in Madden for the past decade.
In 5v5 proam, I threw 5 turnovers all back to back on my big with 93 pass acc (99 in takeover) with a passing takeover active. Like I had takeover and my player either threw it out of bounds or the pass slowed down mid air so the other team could intercept it 5 times in a row. I was legit baffled.
They didn't stop me from playing, Imma play regardless, they stopped me from giving a shit about the outcome. I recently found out an exploit in Starting 5 that allowed only point guards to set-up matchups...I usually play the sf in starting 5. A player who knows the exploit can place their best defender on you.... you have to still guard your match-up the AI and if you help or don't know how to switch its cash money every time.
All factss , I also experience in the theater , no matter if it’s 2s or 3s the game matchmakes me against the direct counter to my build For instance if me and my duo run small guard 7 foot center we play against nothing but 6’7 6’8 or 6’9 locks But if hop on those builds we play against nothing but small guard 7’0 centers it’s crazy
swear to god bro I got a 97 score-first two guard the only build I play on in Rec. I hopped on my 78 3-level shot creator to grind & I matched up against 3 !!! score first two guards in a row back to back games all 99ova gold and purple plates

They literally control the game. It’s so obvious in 1v1’s. If you lock in and the rng can’t stop you they’ll just lag my game and literally, literally, it’ll stay frozen until I walk outta bounds. The other player can’t shoot but I made two threes in a row and then they hit whites just to give them a chance. And when I still win. They match me wit a 99 player when ima 84. They have so many protocols to take control of the game. Worse than COD. That’s saying alot. I’m back watchin tv shows I’m kinda chillin on gaming. It’s all corrupt deviant patents applied to online games for the sake of player retention not knowing everybody just gon leave eventually.
IMO, 2k doesn’t have an EOMM problem. The devs aren’t talented enough to make that work. What I really think it is, is Mike wang forcing us to play how he wants. Through the gameplay, he punishes everyone who doesn’t play as he intended. Then at the same time, he’s artificially bringing everyone down to the same skill level and gaslighting us by calling it realistic when it’s the opposite. For as long as he has his job, Mike wang will be the barrier that blocks us from having a fun and fair 2k. I will never understand the people that cape for this game.
Thing is 2k26 will probably be somwhat the same, they don’t have to improve cause we still spend money on the game and there’s no competition for 2k and we all understand this game is bad a lot of the time it’s not a case of you playing against the opposition you’re playing against 2k

@ I get the point and a lot are valid, only thing I can say is in real life it’s loose balls, a lot of fumbles throughout plays. The algorithm is definitely real but you can combat it knowing what to do, when in my opinion. I enjoyed the video
i moved to FC25 pro clubs.. its a free mode. u upgrade atributes after every game played.. so much customization posibilities.. u can play as a girl or dude.. and servers are not a problem.. in 2k i have 96 midi 97 3.. and miss open shots.. i actually ruined my shooting% after i moved from 93 3pt 83 midi speedbusting guard to a 2 way sharp... i quit 2k in january.. crazy...

Icing on the cake is when they ban people for doing vc glitch methods and all kinds of stuff. Tell me why I have a Klay Thompson build with 98 middy 93 threeball, and the past 4 games in a row I probably totaled 3 made shots out of nearly 30... All open or slightly contested. My brother scored 64 points on this exact same build a few months ago mind you and now I can't even hit the rim...
I have a 99 oassing pg, its no fun at all, i get more TO then with my other builds that have way less passing. 92 3pt rating became worthless thanks to RNG since update 3. also have a 99 layupt with 97 strenght, also worthless... game is just not fun... keep up the work
I have 99 pass and its definitely fun when it works but it is actually useless when the game decides to favor the other team. If you are supposed to get a turnover then you are getting a turnover no matter how open the receiver is. If they cant hit a shot then passing is pointless. I did 99 cuz i love flashy passing and i swear i barely put a flashy pass towards someone’s chest. Always goes to their feet or hits a defender in the back of the head. Rng isnt the worst thing but it needs to become less of a thing the higher your attributes go.

I love the game. I think people need to understand this game has changed. Dynamically is no longer fast. Pace dribble dribble dribble arc shoot I got all the power to combat. RG must play like real life like Alexander Walker from the thunder I cannot be stopped. I take my time and I do my moves. I’ll react to the defense and it is just different to consider myself without spamming I do a combination of lipstick stick moves automatic dribble pull up everything just try it out and every time I do a drive I start off slow. Change of speed.

With 99 passing your passes should be sophisticated automatically. You can use pro pass settings and when you throw a bounce pass you throw it right at the legs of the closest defender. But then on the flip side a big with 45 pass can throw 85ft passes with pinpoint accuracy. Don't even get me started on alley oops. The games cooked.

The biggest issue is that 2k is animation based. And I think they did a bad job putting in a multitude of animations that equated to gameplay. That being said, the games are momentum based, that's why the crowd reacts a certain way, 2k wanted you to strive at home, or winning and struggle away or losing. Your teammate missing off legend dimer is a timing issue and of course the jumpshot and the RNG.

Every year they making dunking worse & worse. I understand that 23 was egregious with the Limitless Takeoff badge & dunk meter system (slightly early’s & slightly late’s) but all they had to do was keep the 24 dunking system & adjust dunk meter success rate / green window size based on the defensive player’s Anchor badge level & the offensive player’s Posterizor badge level. Instead they made the green window invisible & the game is so delayed that you can’t time it correctly without the paint being wide open. Don’t even get me started on playmaking, ISO-ball is practically dead because the dribbling mechanics are horrible.

A player who knows the exploit can place their best defender on you.... you have to still guard your match-up the AI and if you help or don't know how to switch its cash money every time.

I have 99 pass and its definitely fun when it works but it is actually useless when the game decides to favor the other team. If you are supposed to get a turnover then you are getting a turnover no matter how open the receiver is. If they cant hit a shot then passing is pointless. I did 99 cuz i love flashy passing and i swear i barely put a flashy pass towards someone’s chest. Always goes to their feet or hits a defender in the back of the head. Rng isnt the worst thing but it needs to become less of a thing the higher your attributes go.

RG must play like real life like Alexander Walker from the thunder I cannot be stopped. I take my time and I do my moves.
