So I don't buy into/adhere to the whole art of wedding rings/design since I wear a wedding band just for fashion's sake. But this man's soothing voice is just so relaxing. I could listen to him all day going in-depth about cakes or pens.

I was so excited to have a diamond on my finger at proposal to show off 😜 but now (10 years later after children) my lifestyle & outlook is very different and I wish I picked something more subtle and thought about ‘wearing every day’ not big and bulky so that’s said, I wish I got a double ring ..one with a diamond & the secondary one plain so I could switch them out, or just wear one or the other according to my day plans.. if that makes sense?? hope this helps! Also, I picked a size way too small (I’m a 7, but picked 5 & half) because I didn’t want to lose it 😅and thinking back I wished I just got a half a size smaller) FYI happy shopping! 💍

My husband and I have weddings bands (both mens since we have the same size fingers) we bought for less than a couple hundred dollars a piece at an Antique shop. Both are 10k/14k with one having a stylized 'groove' down the center and the other having hatch marks, three in a row, each surrounding a tiny diamond chip. They're nice, comfortable and we can swap them. It is good advice that even if you have money to burn, getting an oversized, show ring is just that, showing off and you will probably rarely wear it day to day.

Best place to buy a wedding ring is at a gold exchange place. They usually buy and sell jewelry, coins and bullion. Their prices are very reasonable. Thats where I got my wedding ring from. I couldn't afford much at age 19. But the wife and me visited a shop near by and my wife picked out her wedding ring. We paid 700 dollars. She choose a ring that was full of diamonds, she was so happy about it. Well later on i found a mark on the inside, I looked up that mark. It took a while to find the manufacture but after about a hour search. Turns out that ring was selling for 7,000 dollars new at the highest and 6,000 at the low end.

This is very helpful. Especially the last point about the width. I wear absolutely 0 jewelry and have no clue what I want. I also am very physical and work a physical job and go right from work to the gym daily. I might get a nice ring for going out and wear a silicone one for work or just no ring. I have no clue but at least this helped me a bit to know what to look for. Thanks.

I feel like I overpaid for my wife's ring. I got it at JCPenny before I knew anything about jewelry. It was on sale but the center stone was only like 80 points and low quality. The one thing that was nice was the setting has beautiful pave along the sides and its 14k YG. But I just feel like the center stone is only worth a few hundred bucks, which means I just paid a lot for the setting, which although nice, was not worth the extra money imo. The lesson: learn about the 4 Cs and the value of precious metal rings before making your purchase.

OK I will tell you the first thing not to do don’t go spend your money at some wedding ring store or jewelry store in Byron for like $10,000 because it’s pointless because really if you really did your research the rings really aren’t worth that much they just fucking Knocked the price up so much because they can when you could use that $10,000 for something a whole lot more sentimental than a ring and I mean a $10,000 ring I would be afraid to even wear the damn thing like no offense, but I don’t wanna fucking lose the ring at all or drop it down the sink or anything like no no thank you I am fine with a Cheap ass ring I mean of course it doesn’t have to be like a $10,000 ring but I’m OK with a $4000 ring that’s not as expensive but that’s still pricey to me for something that really isn’t actually worth that much and if you’re in a relationship with somebody, it shouldn’t matter how much they spent on a ring or anything like that because if you really truly love somebody and you both love each other, it’s not about how much they spent on a piece of jewelry for you It’s how do they treat you in real life because you can’t buy love yeah jewelry nice and expensive jewelry nice and yeah it’s nice to get expensive jewelry but you can’t buy love and if you’re one of those people that’s literally like nope if it’s not $10,000 or more I don’t want it You don’t need to be in a relationship because clearly you have issues and you need to see a psychiatrist because clearly it’s only about money for you. I’m in a relationship. I am a gay man and me and my man have talked and we don’t care about how expensive something is. We love each other because we love each other and it’s not about how expensive things are or you know whatever it’s not about none of that shit, it’s not about money it’s about we love each other so it doesn’t matter if we’re broke and we have nothing as long as we have each other we’re good and that’s what it should be about so don’t go spend your money on a ring they cost $10,000 or more when you can get a cheaper more affordable ring that’s still very very nice And then you could use the rest of that money that you were going to spend to use for the wedding or something like that people forget that you also have a wedding and you know that’s why so many people literally are practically broke after their wedding, because they literally spend so much because literally it’s a money making business The shit shouldn’t cost as much as it cost but it cost the cost because they know people get married people need engagement rings so if they spike the prices all the way up and then make the wedding venues super expensive and then go buy all the other shit for the wedding venues you’re gonna spend a lot of money But a very good thing that you could do is if you know somebody that has a really big house a really gorgeous house ask them if you could have your wedding at their house. My house is huge and that is where I’m having my wedding I’m saving money plus it is a gorgeous place and it’s a gorgeous place for a wedding, I have a big circle driveway with a big water fountain I’m going to have seats on each side of the water fountain and then me and my fiancé are getting married right out in front of our house and then after the wedding is done we’re moving to the venue, part of it which is in the backyard And on the balcony area and that’s perfect so if you know somebody that has land or a big house, don’t be afraid to ask them because you can save money that way yes I have money but I’m all about saving money just because somebody may have money doesn’t mean you need to go spend that money on a $10,000 ring we should think logical and buy the $10,000 ring is just not logical investing your money now that’s logical instead of buying a $10,000 ring you know what you could do you could tell your wife hey listen I love you but what if I didn’t buy you a $10,000 ring I bought you a ring that’s like $4000 And then we use the rest of that money to invest and make more money to me that’s even better deal because your friends are getting $10,000 rings you’re investing and making millions like what’s going on with you like how is it you have all this money because I wasn’t stupid and squander my money on things like $10,000 rings I bought my essentials that I needed a house a car yeah they might be nice vehicles but what do I need like six houses 150 cars I’m not gonna drive 150 cars I’m gonna drive one car and then I’ve got money so when I drive that car and it no longer is drivable, I’ve got money I can get another car Like what do you need all that stuff for we don’t we should think logical just some insight from somebody that does have money. Most people that are wealthy don’t spend their money on stupid stuff. Yes, a lot of them do buy really big houses and really nice cars and yes, they will buy like really nice boats but those are investment pieces a $10,000 wedding ring is not really an investment piece now a Rolls-Royce that’s an investment you can make your money back off of a Rolls-Royce a $10,000 ring on the other hand. Not a very good investment because you’re not gonna get your $10,000 back you’re just not it’s not logical nowhere you take it it’s gonna be like oh yeah we’re gonna give you $10,000 exactly what you spent for it or if you spent more they’re not gonna be like oh yeah we’re gonna give you exact price of what you spent no they’re gonna lowball you they’re gonna be like. Oh I’m sorry no we can only give you this much, and then they’re going to take it and they’re gonna resell it for an even higher price that’s how they work they’re greedy

A wedding band does not keep a person from sinning or prove loving affection.
if a ring represented love... where's your ring for God?...
You wouldn't be able to stand up... the ring would be so heavy around your waist if that was the way a person showed holding love towards another.
wedding rings are man's way not God's way. God searches Hearts Jesus doesn't look for jewelry to know how much you love Him or one another.
[A wedding band is not going to stop a rapist or a cheater.]
    "Regarding jewelry"
it's not what you put on your body it's what your heart and actions show.
After baptism you can trust one another because you are supposed to be living as Christ lived in love and truth.
    1 Peter 1:22
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.
(From the heart... not with worldly things.
Do you listen to God or do you listen to the world?
From the heart not from the outward appearance. when a person wears a wedding band they are trying to let that shine out to be noticed. but what does Scripture say about that? scripture says in
1st Peter 3:1-7 Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
Remember the scripture says husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church. You see it says nothing about a silly ring of statement.
    it's simple...
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.
    Everyone please remember...
if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words
"by the behavior." when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. listen to the word of God not man's ways.
You see there's no room for the ring in marriage and it is not required by the Lord.
if you think so where's your ring for God? it's not needed is it... it's from the heart... God searches hearts.
Do you let metal speak for you or do you speak from your heart and by your actions?
When you stay in step with the spirit you don't apply any metal to your body do you... No... it's by your actions and your words.

My interest in wedding rings is investment only. 22k gold and higher, no stones, in order to receive the IRS reporting exemption. If it has a mark on it or in it to indicate the purity that is preferable. The rings will sit in a climate controlled safe for decades. Where is the best place to buy these sorts of rings in bulk?
