A very good example and of course your courage to take it cool and make them feel guilty of their action towards you all, one thing is sure these kids and gangster or vendors are not original from Goa, they come to Goa for their business and this is what they make to tarnish the Goa's image. The restriction to enter Goa for such people are not there in place and it gets worse day by day. See for your example you also being from outside Goa came to enjoy your peace in Goa but the circumstances had its peak. These ppl in the video selling pineapple are not goans!!! They r migrants coming from other states and sell such fruits or accessories on beach!! They r not allowed to actually.. but they still manage to escape from police n sell.. So, pls correct the title for ur video, coz even u wont like someone writing such towards ur state...
It's not possible that the Goans- police, locals, administration are not aware of these thugs and that they continue to harass the tourists. Whenever any untoward incidents happens with tourists there, it's flashed the world over and tarnish the image and reputation of the place. It is the sole responsibility of the Goans to handle and take care of such elements which could become the probable cause of any undesirable experience for non suspecting visitors.
Thanks for sharing info brother. We all need to be careful now. I saw one more such video as well. I have few friends from Goa as well and they are awesome. Seems at Baga Indians are discriminated in terms of service since many foreigners are available. This is my personal experience around Baga. The only one place I had a service with a smile but everywhere else it was take it or leave it.
I am from delhi and happened with me too. I was riding wespa there with my frnds and suddenly a taxi driver stopped us asking for money for no reason maybe due to of it's off season we denied then he threatened us by calling people we said you call will call police he laughed and said police won't help you n all that shit AND one of my frnd got really angry he said come to delhi sometime then will show you who we are in real. Luckily one of my frnd found that taxi driver and his frnds in delhi. He called all of us and stopped them near janpath area told him remember us? he said yes then started saying sorry sorry sorry lol we call other frnds too then what he got scared then we told him politely don't ever do this to any tourists. tourists runs your state not you.

Never said if they are goans or not. This happened to me in Goa so I will address it as a Goa incident. Please read the other comments on this video. 5k for the bike after seeing the beach sand over/in it.... thats when some of the indian tourists ride their rented bikes over the seashore/on sea water .. obviously.. unknown to the fact that riding a bike on the beach on sea water kills the life of the bike in max 3/4 months.. bike catches all rust n its screwed.. salt water and metal dont go together.. for all those who think its fun riding on the beach.. no one wants to simply take your money from you in Goa. This is your version of the story, I wonder what the other side of the story is. For example, did you ask for the coconut and he cut it and you decided to change your mind and its too late ?. For the locals, its a lot of money and not something they can discard so easily. I cannot see how the price he was charging you was to much , it seemed very reasonable. Don't call the hard working assertive locals "gangsters" man, do you know what a gangster is ? Google Gangster and you will see. A Gangster won't run away if someone use the most scary weapon of a "tape" haha. That alone should have told you that these are just boys.
Mel D Irrespective of age, profession or sex, if someone tries to mob, abuse you and tries to extort money from you they are gangsters..atleast for me and my friends. I too understand what that money means to these small sellers and I never bargain with them. This situation was different. The way this guy behaved was different. As i mentioned in the video he threatened us that he would retrive 5k from us and would see how we leave the beach without paying them. What kind of a hardwork that is? He got 8-10 youngsters with him who barged at us yelling. They were all high. We were talking them through but that was not helping. And yes my "tape" did make some of them run away from the scene. The so called tape is the most powerful weapon in the world if you really look at it. So many of our fellow tourists have shared their Goa experiences too. And how did this even meant to be blaming or offending the entire Goa or Goans? Every tourist destination has its positives and negatives. I made a total of 3 videos on Goa showing both its positives and a single negative incident.

Goan are good but they are not taking care of their Goa, they should complain of scam business. 1 of scam I faced was ear wax cleaning scam thn also in rented bike charging 5k by showing sand inside bike we sorted in 1k but still stugged. Other thn this Goan school students were very respectful.👍👍👍

Safeer Ahmad Native Goans despite their best efforts have been unable to protect Goa as the central Govt. always kept rejecting their demand for special status. Today the natives are already a minority in their own state and completely helpless.
5k for the bike after seeing the beach sand over/in it.... thats when some of the indian tourists ride their rented bikes over the seashore/on sea water .. obviously.. unknown to the fact that riding a bike on the beach on sea water kills the life of the bike in max 3/4 months.. bike catches all rust n its screwed.. salt water and metal dont go together.. for all those who think its fun riding on the beach.. no one wants to simply take your money from you in Goa. Goans are insanely awesome

some people behave with tourists like they own the place and their attitude is like if you want to travel around here you should obey us. respect tourists or say good bye to tourism. there are lots of other places in India waiting to see the name and reputation of goa go down so that they can rise as a tourist destination.

This is your version of the story, I wonder what the other side of the story is. For example, did you ask for the coconut and he cut it and you decided to change your mind and its too late ?. For the locals, its a lot of money and not something they can discard so easily. I cannot see how the price he was charging you was to much , it seemed very reasonable. Don't call the hard working assertive locals "gangsters" man, do you know what a gangster is ? Google Gangster and you will see. A Gangster won't run away if someone use the most scary weapon of a "tape" haha. That alone should have told you that these are just boys.
Mel D Irrespective of age, profession or sex, if someone tries to mob, abuse you and tries to extort money from you they are gangsters..atleast for me and my friends. I too understand what that money means to these small sellers and I never bargain with them. This situation was different. The way this guy behaved was different. As i mentioned in the video he threatened us that he would retrive 5k from us and would see how we leave the beach without paying them. What kind of a hardwork that is? He got 8-10 youngsters with him who barged at us yelling. They were all high. We were talking them through but that was not helping. And yes my "tape" did make some of them run away from the scene. The so called tape is the most powerful weapon in the world if you really look at it. Anyways it was good to see you think about the other side instead of getting their autheticity into the scene like others. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your opinion.

vc C Brother i dont know what survey you are referring to but the entire world knows that Goa's main income comes from tourism in terms of flights, hotels, casinos etc. A quick search on google about Goa's tourism revenue should give you some data. Anyways, I really appreciate you taking time to participate in this discussion. I personally go to Goa atleast 3 times a year and have good time there. Mark Rodrigues I know about goans brother. There is not even a single place on this earth where all people from that place are always good. Every place has a mixture of both positives and negatives. And I really dont understand why this video is considered as a Goan issue rather than a Goa issue. These things happen a lot in Goa so I would definitely call it as Goa irrespective of the authenticity of these guys. Please read some other comments on this video which will tell you other such experiences.

Hello brother,,today i am happy to see your video about goans,,they r locals for sure,,i visited goa just a month ago,,and had same experience with a goan taxi driver,,,and today i am satisfied that i am not the only person to face such experience,,sad to say but,,goa is great-but people of goa r not worth it !!

Point 2 - Outsiders like me come to Goa every year and spend millions (combined) on Goa tourism which forms the main income for Goa
Point 3 - I travel all around the world and visit places much more beautiful than Goa. So i dont need to use Goa's name for popularity.
Point 4 - This is not a video about we fighting with anyone. This is only sharing my experience at a Goa beach. Everybody knows these things happen at Goa beaches now a days and i just want to share thi so that people would be careful before planning their travel.
