I took a train from Oakland, CA to New York City once and I can tell you that Amtrak by far has the best scenery. Most of the route had no houses, power lines, roads, or even farms. It's like you traveled back in time to the 19th century. It must've been a nice little surprise to see that homecoming parade. A true slice of small town life. I can't wait to see Part II. Ride safe, bud :-)
I drove over the road truck for many yrs. Spent more days and nights on the big slab (interstate) than I care to remember. When I throw my leg over a bike I avoid that as much as I can. On a highway you see traffic and billboards. When you ride the 2 lane you see fields, trees, small towns and every now and then a parade. I've found one or two myself. What do you mean "future" bikers? They're ridin ain't they? It's a long way to the end of the road brother. Might not have time to come back to see what you missed on the way. So try not to miss it the first time through. When your out in the middle of nowhere, camping someplace in the dark. Look up and see the stars, and know your in the greatest church on earth. Nobody else builds them like that.
That is a beautiful bike brother. Thanks for letting me saddle up on her! It was great riding with ya! Also thanks for sharing your journey and thoughts with us all. We must have been going through the same time cause I watched the same parade, cool stuff! America Baby!
Awesome video brother, seeing the BNSF train always reminds me of of my youngest son,he has worked for them every since he got out of the Marine corps, looks like we have crossed paths along the on two trips so far, we've been going to the Bikes Blue's and Barbeque for the past 17 years, and we was at the Bring it Home parade as well, maybe someday we can connect with each other 💯, enjoyed this video very much Brother, ride safe ✌️ N ❤️
what warmed my heart ,that little town in the parade, all Ameican cars , if I was to be transported anywhere my harley has to go with me and my family

Well said brother. Since I’m recently retired, I would mind being in a nice warm climate. With my bikes of course 😁
