I know the Chippewa are allowed to spear during the hardwater season. I don't think anyone else can though. Hell there were lakes that were completely closed to ice fishing up until a few years ago due to treaty rights.

I think we enjoy the Willow more. Buy that's probably because it's smaller, easier to fish, and safer to navigate. The Turtle Flambeau is one of the most hazardous lakes we've ever fished. As for tents we've used many over the years but over the last few we have used the Cabelas West Wind 6 person tent. I'll say this, it's built for the wind and rain, but it's miserable in the middle of summer with no breeze.

We were up from ohio the same week .that storm was crazy never seen it rain that hard so fast ...great video guys cant wait for next spring.
I've never heard the wind coming from so far away like that before. We could hear it for a few minutes before it actually got to us.
We tried to fish the rainbow spillway the next day lol that was a no go!!!! They had her wide open...
