my older mom had a old Stihl gas blower that my dad bought her, it still worked fine but the hassle of starting it made me purchase a new battery powered model. while not quite as powerful, for her needs its perfect and with no hassle. battery powered tools are really making a push for the residential home owner. everything from mowers, to trimmers, weed eaters and more

I like your video but the blowers, both electric and battery operated, come in different power strengths. It doesn't show if the two tested are comparable in power.

a diy cable reel will easily solve the problem of cable knots. i would go for corded one, because of the durability.

I use a hand-crank water hose cart to reel in my electrical cord. It makes winding the electrical cord very easy and never any knots!

Great video. Pity that there's no mention about the battery durability. How many batteries doe you need to finish up your garden on an autumn day?

That’s really hard to answer because I have a small yard. I can do my whole yard with one battery. -Steph

Great video! I think at one time this was definitely reversed and it's why people in Vicki's generation are still hooked on corded. Rechargeable batteries have come a long long way. Not only the battery life, but the power that they can allow these tools to output really makes the comparisons a no brainer. The only real issue is.... What in the world do I do with all of these extension cords I no longer need!?! :)
