    Look at that coordination! Luis, Brett and I dropped our films within an hour of each other. Make sure you check theirs out, too. Thanks for watching!

    Nice collaboration video! I had to laugh out loud when you showed the Homer Simpson . I was literally thinking to myself that was one really odd property and like something out of a Deliverance type movie lol, probably best not to investigate too closely. I had been planning to hike that same loop you guys did ( or a very similiar one) so I appreciate you showing it, now I have a good idea of what to expect. Not surprised at all that there could be a 400 year old tree back there, otter creek is listed in my Sierra Guide to ancient forests as having up to 200 acres of eastern old growth. Although it looked as though the hemlocks there are suffering severely as nearly every where else in the state. Another thought that popped in my head - How does one remove a truck from a stream in that terrain? Must have been one hella storm surge coming down that creek. Nice to see local youtubers working together and supporting eachother!

      Thanks a lot, Walter! Yeah, so first off there were plenty of banjo riffs shared in front of the Deliverance house! Next, there definitely was a truck in the creek at some point... It seems like there is an ongoing cleanup afford going there, so someone figured it out maybe? Heh, heh, I was super excited to use that Homer animation..... Lastly, your name came up when we talked about going back to Wind Cave, stay tuned... 👍

    That explorventure did not disappoint! I can’t wait to see the wind cave collaboration. If it’s an old tree you’re looking for, have you checked out the oldest sycamore in Pennsylvania? It’s located in Lancaster County, near that fish place that pet place. Keep up the great work guys!

    • @HikerDudeDad
      @HikerDudeDad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, that sycamore sounds like it's much easier to find! Yeah, Dr. Mom and I did fairly well in Wind Cave, but we just scratched the surface. The whole time I was thinking how much better it would be with an experienced TopoRanger there. Well, we'll find out soon enough!
      Also, Kevin - I got a Kerry County Eagles #69 sweater for Boxing Day, so bring on the frozen ponds... 🎅🇨🇦🏒

    Hello I enjoy your channel. In the early 2000s I hiked Game land 83 I found a small cave I could stand up in along a small tributary stream running into otter Creek. I visited the cave twice it went to no further than 10 feet a couple years later I took some friends and my children back to visit the cave, and it had collapsed. I wonder if this was the cave you were looking for
