Caribert using his ability to weave ley lines and memory through the unfinished Loom of Fate within him placed himself in the memories of people in Vimara Village and manifested himself into what he could look like had he been able to mature using his father's likeness. Despite what happened he maintained his innocence and to leave something behind for people to remember him by even if that wouldn't last. He also made sure the Loom of Fate is completed despite knowingly helping the Abyss Order so he could use it to give all Hilichurls a brief moment of peace before he finally departs. He briefly had the power to alter the world and that's what he does with it. That says a lot that Caribert truly held no grudges for being cursed but more or less pity and still remained a good man to the end.
Can you blame his dad? Lived far beyond a mortal life which is a bad thing. His home destroyed by archons, his lover and son cursed, desperate for an end that he thinks won't come. I am pretty sure most people will be broken after all that
Clothar have a face of depressed old man with PTSD. Homeland is gone, everyone in his homeland turned into hilichrul including his son, running away from everyone for years after what happened in khaenriah.
What the heck. I just played this quest. And I found him attractive eventhough he has similar face to other NPC. Maybe his piercing, black hair and beautiful eyes makes him look fine. Plus his tender personality and voice😢😢
They are halfsiblings. Caribert was turned into a hilichurl because his mom was not of khanerian descend, while Kaeya always stayed human because both of his parents are khanerian. They share their father though

I originally thought it would be the siblings’ reunion that moved me, but it turned out it was Caribert’s reveal made me cry like a baby😭😭

His dad was nice and loved his son but being cursed with immortality and watching your son turn into a monster will break any mortal.
They really improve the npc design for Caribert or this is just another way for them for Natlan and Sneznaya's npc just like Halfdan
