I’m a Zimbabwean watching from America and feeling so proud and grateful. Proud of this great man and grateful to Ugandans for taking care of our legends.🙏🏾❤️
Hello my African brothers and sisters. I stumbled on this video by accident. I am so glad that I did. Greetings to everyone from a Nigerian American living in Massachusetts. I really enjoyed listening to this elder narrating his story. Wishing Papa good health and a long life. 🙏🏾
Perfect conversational interview. Full of great lessons. This man has great retentive memory and a wonderful story line. He must definitely write a book now. He is an amazing institution to learn from.
Critical Historical Record of great importance. (title is misplaced )Baba Mazoe has an impeccable memory which should be treasured deeply by all the children of Africa. 👏👏👏👏👏
Once you mentioned Nairobi...my heartbeat town....the credentials of this show just sky rocketted....I love my country Kenya despite ups and downs experienced. God bless 🇰🇪 Kenya...motherland.
Excellent story everyone was so helpful in all those times no fear from murderers and kidnapping thieves etc so lovely to hear this story i laugh when he says 1952-1955 hahahaha going on unplanned journey for 3 years 😂😂🤣🤣sweetest story i don’t know how i came to see this channel
But I have a question, when was he born this man? According to the official records Robert G Mugabe was born on 21st February 1924. So in 1952, Mugabe was 28 years of age. For this man to travel this far he could have been in his early 20s or late teens. So Mugabe had a son at which age?
The Mugabes should have the space in their hearts to embrace this man, he truly will remind them of the legendary Robert Mugabe, see how much he resembles their late father
Good to see my brother Shelton Mazowe his story on how he settled in Uganda. I met him in Kampala and he gave me an impression that he is now totally Ugandan. He loves the country.
Hi I'm from South Africa, this is one of the best interviews I ever have watched..the Old has good memory..You even mentioned our own The Manhattan Brothers who I thought where famous in South Africa..we need more legends to tell us their stories.
Thouroughly enjoyed this interview as a Zimbabwean living in France so much history laughter and education at the same time. I hope he will write a book would love to meet him.
We are proud of you Mr Shelton Mazowe , you travelled the longest journey which you never turn back , i hope one day you should come back home to share your story to your familly may God bless u , u are missed mwana wevhu
Excellent conversation. Very informative and coherently presented, well done. Regret poor/unprofessional ending. Please get him back and diversify your convo. Good story teller there👌

I'm so proud of you my grandfather thank you for raising me and for everything you've done for me if my mother was still alive your daughter she would have been so proud of you Grandpa🙏
Your grandfather is very smart. Remembers everything. Looks much younger than his age. And as a fellow Zimbabwean and most importantly African so happy to hear his story and how well he and his bandmates represented Zimbabwe
He is over 80, let that sink in. I am amazed by his photographic memory, names, dates , places etc. And above all no mention of any formal education. That just shows us as important as formal education is, some people are born naturally intelligent. Imagine how much talent is wasted in many countries when formal qualifications are a prerequisite to get a job or become a politician etc. I would take this man to be on my team any day of the week.
I hope you visit your family in Zimbabwe, our beautiful country. Didn't realise there are Zimbabweans in Uganda oh thats great. We have Ugandans in Zim too , Bantus are Bantus ❤
WOW I’m Malawian from Ngabu in Chikwawa, this is a calling. There are so many of these generation of golden oldies of black Africans to do the oldest tradition of narating events of actual history. Please keep digging.Totoday people in the west still belief that Idi was a cannibal its BS.Its only people like Mazowe who can confront this head on again 🙏
Truly fine interview.. speaker is so eloquent.. (with wonderful memories.. about the specifics of near 70 years ago..) Thank so much.. particularly to the speaker.. and you too (presenter).. Good health all...
IT IS GREAT TO LEARN THAT A ZIMBABWEAN WAS AND STILL VERY HAPPY IN UGANDA. CAN ZIMBABWEAN AUTHORITY LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT MAZOWE'S EXPERIENCE IN UGANDA! SO THAT THEY STOP CALLING OTHER AFRICANS OR HUMAN BEINGS IN ZIMBABWE "ALLIENS".
Thank you for a great interview, much love from South Africa. My brother the constant Advert at the bottom and top is kind of disturbing our focus. Yes now and then you can put it on but perhaps not constant. Thank you 🙏🏼
I won't lie, Farooq you're so smart I dedicate this video to all people who talks evil tings about Uganda the Pearl of Africa.Pliz u still have tym to repent.
I'd once a bad experience in Zimbabwe on my first time visit, i went to Zimbabwe immigration office to ask for a permit to settle there as i saw alot of opportunities, once i arrived there the lady in the reception was great as she directed me to the residents permit office , i went there and give the guy my passport and asked him more information on how settle there and start the business , But what he asks me was why you left your country and decide to come here? Why not in your country? I'd respond all his questions politely but he was very rude with his communication skills 🙄 and wasn't interested to welcome a fellow black Africans from Tanzania. He told me i should invest first in my country, i was so disappointed abouts all his information and starts to prepare to left the country 😅 back to Tanzania 🇹🇿 and continue pushing the life but honestly the House of stone has many more opportunities if you looking for business opportunities
