Hey folks! Long time no talk! I finally finished Euphoria and I'm super excited to share these reactions with you so I hope you enjoy!
the setting is in high school because the all things is based on the real life experience of the creator/writer/director of euphoria Sam Levinson, he was a drug addict when he was in high school (if i remember correctly from his 14/15yo till he was 19 years old, that's when he was able to get and stay clean), and the funny thing is that most of the crazier things that happen in the show,, and that people point out as being an extreme exaggeration of how reality is, are actual real life events (like Jules and the knife in the first episode)
Ppl that say it's an exaggeration just didn't live a life similar to this. For me this was way to close to home and not at all exaggerated
The Donny Hathaway song sent me into tears 😭 This show has no business to be this intense 🥺🤣
i was trying so hard to hold in my tears 😭 my only motivation was to not be caught crying on youtube 😭

omg agreed! i kept seeing tik toks of him before i started the show of people being like “omg he’s such a bad person but he’s kinda sexy” and after finishing the show i’m honestly like 😬😬😬 some people really do scare me in their taste of men 😭 especially when the character is written for you to hate them 😬

35:31 Eh IDK, I don't really think Nate Jacobs and the guy from the kissing both (name?) are THAT different. Nate is like a more violent, more toxic version of the guy, like taking him to an extreme, but basically, I don't really see much versatility there.
I'm not saying Jacob is not a great actor, he definitely is! But I wouldn't use that word to describe his acting yet. I'd love to see him in more roles tho!

Nate is just stupid, he likes Jules but he didn't trust her and thought he had to blackmail her to stop her from exposing his dad, which she was never going to do in the first place so the whole thing was just totally unnecessary. Aggravates me every time I watch lol.
