Hey, nice video. I took the exam this year with partial quant preparation. Scored 92. Hoping to give it a much more serious shot next year. Looking forward to more videos from you! Would you mind sharing what your written exam score was? TIA
Thanks Achyut, definitely more videos coming up. 92 is really good, a solid convert-able score this time. I have shared my interview experience in another video, please check that out as well. I got 100 this time and 110 last time. If you want to know my interview & other scores please be subscribed because I'll be sharing it in coming days :)
If you converted it at 100 then I must not have missed it by much. What was your rank among the 30 of general list, if you don't mind me asking. I saw your your video on PGDBA interview. Mine was a disaster. The first prof asked my 3-4 questions from my undergrad specialization, and I couldn't answer a single one (wasn't expecting these questions, didn't prepare for them either). Scored just 10 in the interview! Looking forward to gain from your future videos.

analytics as a whole is about logically reasoning from available data. mathematics happens to be an important part of it. It is a little difficult but is not too difficult to learn. Given time, practice and, dedication, it can be surely learnt.
Hello, does this course require prior knowledge of software and the like? Is it suitable for a commerce student with no technical knowledge but a willingness to learn (as in is the technical aspect taught from basics)?
Hi Aarushi, no prior knowledge is a requirement. If you have some inclination for math and problem solving, that should do. Although some basic Python might help, you can learn that easily along the course. Math and ML algorithms would be taught from basics and a lot of peer learning also happens.
@@raahul42 Thank you for your response. I am planning to apply through GMAT - do I need to submit the score through GMAC or is it enough that I enter it and provide the official report PDF? Please help as the institution is not giving any clear response about the same.
Hi Raghav, eligibility criteria would be mentioned in the IIM Calcutta page of PGDBA. You can find it here 👇🏼 www.iimcal.ac.in/programs/pgdba/admissions/eligibility-selection-criteria

Hi,I have completed BCA as my bachelor's degree and currently I am a working professional and alongwith my job I am pursuing MCA in distance from SRM University,so I wanted to know that am I eligible for this?
Yes as far as I know that will be accepted. Please feel free to contact the PGDBA office for more information : www.iimcal.ac.in/programs/pgdba/contact-us
Hi I was looking at this program and tried the sample paper they posted on the website out of curiosity. Is it at all representative of the actual paper difficulty ? Scored 100 out of 150 on that. I am not preparing for any exam currently. What resources should I follow ? And what is considered a good score in the CBT ?
Hi Anwesha, not sure about the sample paper but personally I feel that this exam's difficulty level is not that hard. If you're decently good at math, you should be fine. I'd say follow whatever resource you had for your 12th grade. Score of 100+ would be good and 120+ would be really good
it's not like that Vishal. The only requirement is, the candidate must hold a graduate/post graduate degree with any of the following: 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2, with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B. Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent)
@@raahul42 actually i have 59.33 in my graduation. If i will bring more than 60 percent in mba or pgdm then will i cross eligibility criteria beceause they have asked 60 percent minimum
@@raahul42 sir not masters degree but just bachelor's like mbbs/ bds. It's a 5.5 yrs course. And it's not mentioned in their website that's why I asked here
The actual rule is : A candidate must hold a graduate/ post graduate degree with 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 5 or 10 + 2 + 3 + 2, with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent). One-year MBA will not be considered equivalent of M.Sc./ M.Com. but I think MBBS will be sufficient. You can contact the office and check once.

I'm not sure if they take admissions through GMAT. There's a separate exam called PGDBA entrance exam which slightly differs in syllabus from CAT
hi Rahul. can u please tell how u prepared for written exams. which sources u used
ofcourse Shahbaz, I had prepared for CAT and the syllabus that didn't overlap with CAT, I used the material i had for 12th grade xD
Hello sir
Is any knowledge in coding language needed for the course?
It's not a prerequisite, you'll be learning to code in R, Python in the course. But knowing Python basics beforehand would be really useful.
