I think this team was much better than this years team, the defense was so superior. Also McMaryion was just so much consistent than Hainer is. Marcus just really took care of the football and was pretty accurate as well.
I think the 2018 squad was more consistent. Talent wise I think the current squad is better. Dogs seem to be following the trend of many teams as far as consistency goes. This defense we have is solid as fuck too. The final score against Boise reflects on them poorly, but that blame falls on the offense as well, fielding poor field position, too many turnovers, not an adequate TOP. Defense had a number of red zone stops and held the Broncos to field goals quite a few times early on. If anything the defense has kept them in games. Against Hawaii, the defense bent, but did not break. It’s hard to win a game when you turn the ball over that much. I’ve rambled on, sorry. It’s been a tough season 😅.
