I love your videos so much!! I get excited whenever I see that you have posted lower level videos. I am learning so quickly when I just take the time to sit down and watch and listen (and repeat the same video many times!). Thank you for what you do!
Man... as a parent to a young child, I can't help but wonder what was going on in this kid's life. His life at home must have been really rough. How he turned out probably wasn't really his fault, but that doesn't make up for the fact that he tormented you.
Great story! Easy to understand. I have a feeling some of my bullies are in prison also. Most are probably drunks that work at the local saw mill, and have little bullies of their own now.
I've only been studying Chinese for 30 days for like an hour a day, but I understood almost nothing. I kept hearing "I like" "He doesn't like" "mom" "school" "don't have friend" and that's actually all I got... After 2 listens.
The fact that you understood that much is good. That's the foundation. After 30 days I had nearly nothing. But as I kept going back to videos rewatching a set of a dozen videos things started to unlock for me. It happens when you don't expect it. Consistency and rewatching are key and so are watching the ones that are the most interesting topics/styles and making sure as best you can that your watch time is laser focused on the video like if you can convince yourself you're watching a sunrise for the first time kinda intently watching.
Another thing I've found is that if I simply feel that I understand the gist of what is being said then my brain is actually in the process of doing the language acquisition even if I can't consciously pick out individual words or phrases I understand. That's why I've got to give as much of my attention to the video as possible even though I do also listen and watch when I'm doing other tasks at times.
And sorry for the wall of text, but I know how it feels to feel you're making little progress starting out with this method and there is almost no tutorial on the nitty gritty of actually making this method work. I also suggest checking out the lazy chinese website because the light blue themed total beginner videos on there are even easier than the red themed beginner videos and I'm not being paid to say this 😂
I understood every single word. 16 months ago, the videos on your channel were so difficult to watch. Now they are so easy to watch.
Same! Day to day I don't notice much progress, but looking back on where I was a year ago, I have come a long way!

在学校的时候都，有了一位坏同学。没有一个孩子喜欢了他。还老师都和同学的妈妈，爸爸都不喜欢了他。好像他有了家问题。但是然后他继续学习，也开他自己的工作，搬家别的国家当了非常好的丈夫，爸爸（两孩子）还一好的好朋友！这个是快乐的结局！我恭喜他。我也恭喜lazy chinese,因为太好的视频. 加油！
小学的时候我没有那么多回忆。但中学的时候我有很多回忆。在这时我班级里也有一些坏人。他们常常在上课的时候大声聊一聊，让老师变成生气。有一天有一个坏人也把我的书包放在垃圾桶，这让我把一个在桌子上的东西扔他的脸，到这时候我不知道我可以扔那么好。

我最不喜欢的学习部分是中学。我觉得有很多人欺负，不舒服。不仅气氛不太好，而且我自己不适合，我自己感觉不符合。其他的学习部分都很高兴很有意思。
小学６年时、我也被同学欺负了。那以前、我欺负了别１个同学。也许我被惩罚了。只有当我被欺负的时候、我才明白被欺负是多么痛苦了。
